Jonathan R. Danoff, MD is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. He is skilled in minimally invasive surgery, as well as advanced techniques in direct anterior total hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, and managing complications of failed or painful hip and knee replacements. He also specializes in fractures around joint replacements (periprosthetic fractures), as well as hip fractures. Should an operation be indicated, Dr. Danoff may employ some of the latest and most advanced techniques in computer navigation and/or robotic surgery to restore joint mobility while striving to seek the best outcome for patients. Dr. Danoff has a research interest in rapid recovery protocols and multimodal pain regimens to decrease postoperative pain.
A native of Long Island, Dr. Danoff graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Sciences with a degree in biomedical engineering. He received his doctor of medicine degree from Penn State College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at Columbia University in New York City. He also completed the Harrison L. McLaughlin Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma Research at the Trauma Training Center at Columbia University Medical Center as part of a combined residency/research training program. Dr. Danoff completed his fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at the renowned Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, PA.

He didn't paid attention at what i was saying, he only kept saying that i didn't need knee replacement, i was young and i would be fine. He was only interested if i was a candidate for surgery. He did not want to investigate the source of my pain.
