Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Had to find a new podiatrist in the middle of treating an injury, due to a move, but Dr. Selbst was very professional and able to pick right back up where the last doctor left off. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with his practice!

Dr. Jonathan Selbst is a native South Floridian, growing up in Weston, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of Florida, where he graduated with Cum Laude Honors. Dr. Selbst then studied for 4 years at Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. He earned both his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine as well as a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, graduating in the top 5% of his class.
Dr. Selbst went on to complete a 3-year Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency at the prominent Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. While there, he engaged in over 1,700 procedures encompassing the vast array of Podiatric Surgery. His training included the conservative and surgical treatment of numerous forefoot and rearfoot conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, flatfeet, arthritic conditions, diabetic conditions, and heel pain.
In addition, Dr. Selbst, a Podiatrist and foot and ankle specialist, has been highly trained in sports-related injuries including ankle sprains, ankle fractures, Achilles tendon ruptures, as well as fractures of all bones in the foot and ankle. He is highly trained in the latest conservative and surgical advances of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Selbst currently is on the medical staff at University Hospital & Medical Center and University Hospital’s Advanced Wound Healing Center in Tamarac, Florida. He is a member of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association and is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Selbst is married to his wife and together they have 2 beautiful daughters. In his free time, he enjoys being with his family and friends and taking care of the family dog (a Goldendoodle named Bentley).
