Dr. Jonathan Solomon was very professional and made me feel very at ease with the procedure I went in for. He gave me information on all the options and explained which options would be the best for my circumstance. His expertise in the surgery I needed to make my vision 20/20 was very comforting and the surgery experience itself was amazingly smooth. I didn't have any discomfort during or after the surgery and my recovery was very fast. He even called the day after surgery to make sure I was doing okay and that there weren't any problems or discomfort. I was incredibly blown away by his patient care and how well he listened to me and any concerns I had. He was one of the best doctors I have been to and I am absolutley positive that he was the best choice for getting me to 20/20 vision. His staff was also very professional and helpful during my visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Jonathan Solomon!

Dr. Solomon is a board certified Ophthalmologist specializing in Anterior Segment Surgery including Cataract and Refractive Surgery. As a native of Greenbelt, Dr. Solomon is a graduate with honors of the University of Maryland, College Park. He received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine, and completed his post-graduate training at the prestigious Casey Eye Institute and Devers Eye Institute of Portland, Oregon.
A fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and member of the distinguished Cornea Society, Dr. Solomon serves as an executive board member of the Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and maintains his affiliation with the University of Maryland as the Terps LASIK surgeon. He continues to remain active in the academic community as a Clinical Instructor at The Wilmer Eye Institute at The Johns Hopkins University. He also has been working closely with the leading manufactures of precision surgical equipment including instruments and intraocular lens implants, in an effort to improve surgical outcomes.
Dr. Solomon has distinguished himself as the youngest surgeon qualified to utilize all three FDA approved presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses, and was the first surgeon to perform wavefront-guided LASIK as part of a residency training program. Dr. Solomon's spirit and compassion extend beyond his achievement in the surgical theatre, and he has been acknowledged for his efforts by GQ magazine in their Men of the Year issue.

Uneventful, which is great news when seeing a doctor about an issue that could lead to blindness.
The doctor was a lot like his father, a calm, cool presence with experience. I will be switching to him as my doctor. While I have never had anything serious with my eyes I faith in both Jonathan and his father Stephen.

I was visiting in the area and an eye emergency developed. My daughter scheduled my appointment on line for the next day.
Dr Solomon was very complete in working on my problem. His assistant was also very helpful.
I feel I am getting the best care available and would be happy to recommend him.

I suppose part of it was my fault (or maybe ZocDoc's?). I had a routine eye problem apparently but I thought it was an emergency so that's how I scheduled the appointment. Apparently Dr. Solomon does mostly surgery and I kind of got the vibe that he was thinking, "Why are you here wasting my time?" He could have been a bit more discreet about what he was thinking and been less dismissive about my concern. He was a bit patronizing.
