I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shankle. She listened to my issue, didn't rush me, and is an excellent communicator. Her intelligence and expertise were evident in the way she explained the potential problem and outlined the next steps. The front desk woman (I'm sorry, her name escapes me) was very patient and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Shankle. The last thing you need is a lot of chaos and stress when visiting the doctor's office. I didn't experience any of that at The Manhattan Center for Headache and Neurology.

Jordan Shankle, a board-certified Physician Assistant, is excited to join the practice and is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain their healthcare goals. As part of Manhattan Center for Headache and Neurology, she is mentored by Audrey Halpern, MD, to diagnose and provide treatment options for a variety of neurological disorders.
Jordan earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Health Studies and a Minor in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She then completed her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Stony Brook University. Afterward, she proudly joined the U.S. Navy. During her career as a Naval Lieutenant, she provided exceptional healthcare at stateside naval hospitals and during overseas operations. She specializes in Family Medicine, Urgent Care, and Combat Medicine. During her military service, she was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal, Fleet Marine Force Officer Medal, and Humanitarian Award.
Jordan enjoys developing strong patient rapport and has a deep commitment to providing efficient, high-quality, personalized care. She closely follows Dr. Halpern’s model of concierge-style medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is an avid volunteer for the American Red Cross.

Jordan was great. I’ve had migraines for a while, but started experiencing new symptoms a couple of months ago that I wanted to get checked out. She took the time to thoroughly review my entire medical history and recommended a thoughtful workup to help diagnose the root cause. I’m still early in the process of understanding what’s going on, but I feel confident that Jordan will help me get to the bottom of it!

Such a great experience with Jordan! She was understanding and open to any and all ideas I had about a treatment plan, which isn’t always the case with new doctors. I felt heard and understood, and I was so grateful that she gave me samples of a new medication to try while I waited for insurance approval.

Jordan the PA was wonderful listened to my concerns did a thorough exam and ordered the appropriate test I needed for my headaches from a previous an accident. She even gave me sample meds to help with the pain. The staff was so welcoming and helpful and scheduled my follow up appt right away. I was in and out in 30 min. Great experience and highly recommend!
