I very much appreciate that Dr. Campana takes time to explain the present and likely future condition of my eyes and vision. I've never felt that I've been rushed to make way for his next appointment. And he was the first to detect an ocular symptom that led to the diagnosis of its significant non-ocular cause.

My appointment was at 1 and I was finally seen by the doctor at 2:45 pm (almost 2 hours). Though on Zocdoc, I filtered doctors that specifically took my insurance, when I went, they said they did not.
Doctor could not diagnose my issue and referred me to the wrong specialist.

As a pilot and had a surgery in each eye, I trust only Dr. Campana with my eyes! Did I have to wait? Maybe, but it is because he takes his time with each and ever patient. So well worth it. However, one of his best assets is Deborah Vazquez, his Contact and Glasses Specialist. She has set me up with glasses since 2013 and has never let me down with the style, fit and repair of the glasses. Little did I know, her true talent is contact lenses. She is the one that suggested giving them a try. I never thought I would be a candidate as a person who wears trifocals and I couldn't imagine putting something in my eye, let alone taking it out. Her patience was amazing. Between getting the multifocal contacts correct to giving me the confidence that I could get them and out. I wish I had entertained contacts sooner. If you have even remotely thought about contacts, I say go for it and go see Deborah. Thank you Deborah!!

Every time I've gone to Dr. Campana's office, I've waited for what seems like an excessive amount of time beyond my appointment. This time, I waited 1 hour and 35 minutes beyond my appointment time. One of the staff said that there was a surgery emergency that pushed back the schedule 45 minutes...but still, the wait time was excessive.
On the plus side, I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Campana and his staff. They will take the time to give you the care that you need, rather than rushing you through just to keep on schedule. Both he and his staff are very competent and professional, and I have complete faith in their results. It just seems that there should be some balance between scheduling and wait time. If you go, take a good book to pass the time, and expect to wait well beyond your scheduled appointment time.

Dr. Campana was wonderful! Very concise and helpful.
However, I have never in my life waited so long for an appointment. I saw on the sign in sheet that 4 other people before me also had appointments at 9:30, so perhaps this is partially why.
I recommend calling ahead on the day of your appointment to see if the wait time is long.

Although the office was busy and Dr. Campana saw me almost an hour after my appointment time, he is fantastic, quick, and experienced. I have been there many times now having cataract surgery and I'm noticing it's best to arrive well before your appointment time. The last two times I went I didn't wait as long.

My experience was very good. I was greeted when I arrived, my information was available and accurate. The Dr's assistant was professional and thorough. Once she. put my eye drops in I was asked to wait 15 to 20 minutes and she would call me back in to see the Dr. I was called back in on time and waited only a few minutes before the Dr came in. He was friendly and professional, and knowledgeable.. He did a thorough exam then explained my situation and options. He took the time to answer all my questions. I left feeling like I understood my diagnosis and options. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Doctor is excellent.
But, the appointment system doesn't work well for this doctor's office.
(1) I had appointment at 9:00 am (I came on time 8:50 am Office shop open at 9:00 am).
(2) I was completed doctor 's form on line with Zokdoc. The associate at counter let 2 people cut the line, then I have to wait quite long time than I expected.
Between Walk-in person no appointment / and / Appointment person, why 2 walk-in people can cut the line. Why they have priority than a person who have an appointment.
The person who has Appointment should have priority to get first.
Then associates at the counter make me not impressed for serviced.
Feel very bad, wait for long time.
I will recommended THIS DOCTOR 's OFFICE SHOULD HAVE APPOINTMENT Only.........Not accept walk-in.

I made my appt. through ZocDoc. I completed all of the paperwork beforehand, arrived 10 minutes early and handed all in to the receptionist. Then I had to wait to be seen for 75 minutes. The doctor was fine once he saw me and I have no complaints about him medically. However, the 75 minute wait was ridiculous. You'd think a practice operating as long as his would have a better handle on scheduling.

If you are not looking for a thorough exam, this place is for you. Was not happy with plan of care. My condition got better at the plan of another physician.
Wait time was excessive. They office did not open on time. Lots of patients waiting outside and office staff took their time to get things set up.

The doctor and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the first appointment of the day, and I still had to wait about 30 minutes before they called my name. I finally saw the doctor after an hour or so. The doctor was great and took time to explain things to me. I advise everyone to be prepared to wait a long time, as my entire visit took about 2 hours.
