Dr. Jorge Suárez has provided his community in Houston, TX with both FAMILY PRACTICE and URGENT CARE for MINOR EMERGENCIES for two decades. Dr. Suárez practices a health care model that benefits patients and insurance companies, serving as a Primary Care Physician to many patients with and without insurance at a low cost. Patients in need of urgent care for minor emergencies can see a doctor quickly, and patients as well as insurance companies do not have to pay a high premium for urgent care as they would in the hospital E.R.
Our Urgent Care can verify insurance within one hour at the most, as compared to the hours-long waiting periods in hospital E.R.s. We have flexible hours and weekend and walk-in appointments. Dr. Suarez will see you today!

Made an appointment online and they did not have any of my information on file. The wait time was extremely too long. Several patients left due to the wait even with appointments setup. I went in just for a general consultation (no complaints or requests). The front desk is not knowledgeable of insurance charges and charged me the wrong copay amount due to it being "the weekend" even after I explained the correct amount........ Not going back!

He is an excellent doctor, however it has been 3 hours already since my appointment time. It really doesn't matter what time the appointment is, please expect to wait for your turn just as it would be in an emergency too however this is only a doctors visit.

Horrible experience. I was very ill and when Dr. Suarez saw me to tell me I had pleurisy, I started crying. Mind you, I had been very ill with a severe respiratory infection and had already been to the emergency room. I also see a behavioral specialist. So, when I started crying, because I was so tired and stressed from being so sick, he said " you're really messed up you should go back to your old GP and see your behavioral doctor. What a jerk. I'm not an idiot. I had been sick for almost 3 weeks and he acted and treated me like I was the problem. Never recommend or return. Awful and ridiculous. Plus, no one seemed to know what they were doing and the dr. Treated me like I was coming to him for pain medication. Wow.

First things this doctors office was an urgent care!! I had an appointment at 5 he did not get there until after 7 why!? (I had to ask) "because he was gone on lunch!" Unprofessional ! I booked my appointment for a well woman's exam as well as an std screen because I try to go every six months and it's been six months! Well needless to say he argued with me asking why I wanted a std screen! He also told me that he would give me a screen only if I provide a reason . I told him I'm sexually active and that's what your supposed too do. He still wasn't convinced. He made me uncomfortable and I no longer want to proceed with the visit and I left! That was a waste of my time . Never again!

Dr Jorge Suarez was very professional in his approach and was happy that he ran a number of tests and gave me medication to relieve my severe coughing and congestion. I was particularly pleased in the fact that I received a chest X-Ray as I am much relieved now that I know what the problem is and will now learn how to manage that problem.

My visit was ok. Staff was very knowledgeable , doctor also. The only thing was the wait time I waited 50 mins to get seen by the doctor for less than 2 mins BUT he did solve my problem.

Be sure to ask for an itemized bill. I came in on the weekend, which be warned is three times the rate of the week (same for after 5pm). He also had me come in again on the next day and wanted to charge me for it being the weekend again and a different visit. Lots of other sketchy business, he's being submitted to the Better Business Bureau from me at least. ONLY GO IF SUPER URGENT YOU WILL BE PAYING AN ARM AND A LEG! Also yelled at his nurse in the room with us, because she contradicted his reasoning for why we were paying what we were! Also waited for 1 hour in lobby besides having appointment; then 3 hours in room because "a guy broke his leg" (chipped bone, and told us this, super confidential right) although we heard him walk out on crutches an hour into waiting. Not most horrible visit ever, but stressful and tiring, left with a headache, thanks Doc.

He was way too many patients to handle. Made a 1:30 appointment. I arrived at 1:00. Finally out the door at 4:00PM. When they put me in the room, I even had to wait there for another hour. Just let me wait outside another hour next to the TV instead of putting me in there so damn early. Then the doc finally shows up and starts chatting with the door wide open for all to hear. It was funny because I personally had to stand up and close the door.

Dont go here! The front desk is rude, antagonistic and unprofessional, even in the prescence of the doctors(who turn a blind eye as if condoning the attitude)
They project an image of wanting to get into your pocket at all cost fast!!
Avoid this practice if want to be treated effeciently and with courtesy!
