I wasn’t quite sure what to expect ... but what I found was a doctor who was efficient, but still slowed down enough to make sure he covered everything and heard everything you wanted to share. I’m not a big fan of going to the doctor, but I’m definitely a fan of Dr. Batlle!

The doctor himself was friendly and professional. What I did not appreciate was 1) his office immediately rescheduled my appointment for a different time hours later than what I signed up for on zocdoc, and 2) that he did not want to accept blood work I had done elsewhere, so his office scheduled me 2 more appointments to have my blood drawn without asking what date or time worked for me. I've been trying to call to cancel/move these follow-ups but no one answers the phone for the number on his card.

Overall nice people working there, secretaries were very nice. Doctor didn't know some basic and commonplace facts about my condition, which was kind of funny. Large stacks of papers everywhere, place didn't feel clean. More or less refused to give me one of the referrals I wanted, insisting on his own diagnosis for my problem. Overall an experience not to be repeated.

Decent doctor, from what I saw. Except the office is a MESSS. The doctor has about 2 feet of paperwork on his desk. Disorganized piles of paper on one corner, and a pile of random rx medications on the opposite corner. By their main entrance, they have a poster advertising the AIDS walk for May 2017. November is almost over. Throw that thing away. I think this place would come off as a lot more professional if they cleaned up a little. I’m more likely to trust a doctor if they look like they care about their environment, but maybe that’s just me.

Very disappointed I booked an appointment with his doctor. Went in with extreme pain in my throat and difficulty swallowing without pain, that I have experienced only before when suffering from strep. Did not listen to my concerns and diagnosed me with acid reflux with out a proper in depth examination. Refused to listen to me when I expressed that I had suffered from acid reflux before and this was a totally different sensation. He then said “Tell me what you want out of this, it’ll just be easier that way...” Would not reccomend to anyone! This doctor is here to collect a paycheck and get patients in and out without care or good bedside manner. Will not go back.

If you want someone to act like they care about their job yet they really don’t, this man is for you. He’s rude, thinks he knows everything (even things outside his field like he told me I should never have days for relaxing) The lady at the front desk does EVERYTHING from checking you in to the blood and tests so expect to be there. MUST SPEAK SPANISH! Very horrible schedule for opening hours. After trying for almost two years I’m finding someone new.

A bizarre office that feels somewhat disheveled. Service was fine but I also didn't feel like much attention was paid to me as the patient and the next steps (i.e. Go have blood work done etc) were handed to me without context or reason. Personally unlikely to return.

He didn't really look at me because he was looking at the computer entering the answers I was giving him. It seemed really rushed, which I do NOT appreciate. I needed to see a doctor right away for my back pain. He gave me 2 different medications and physical therapy (which was actually helpful), and another medication for my acid reflux, (which i already take 2 different medications for and also see an excellent gastroenterologist.. see Dr. Paik) however I do not like taking medications especially if I do not have to. The fact that it was the first time I was seeing him and he was was just giving me medications, especially for my reflux when I told him I already take mediction and he doesn't know my history, is not what I needed or wanted. I do not plan on returning to see him.

This was by far the worst doctor visit i ever had. I would never in my life return. Id advise no one to go here. I went for a physical and had no blood work and no test done. What I got was a appt to come back to do my blood work. I wont be back this place was a joke. They could have done a a1c test to draw my blood even though i ate in the morning .total joke

It was my first time going to Dr. Batle. My appointment was at 10, I didn't get called in till 11:30. practically a waste of my morning. When I went into his office he didn't introduce himself so I basically don't know who I'm speaking with. doesn't look at me in the eyes at all during this appointment. I felt like this place is very unprofessional. There's over 15 people in the waiting area(people waiting since 9 and its 1030). As walked out the receptionist handed me An envelope with 2 referrals for 2 different socialist,and 2 appointment dates for me to go back to draw blood and a post op. The receptionist doesn't give me options when to come back. The doctor never told me that he was going to refer me to 2 specialist so I was completely lost when I get these referrals. This doctor should be communicating more with his patient and BUILD A RELATIONSHIP so they can feel comfortable coming to him.

The Dr wasn't bad. He seemed to be knowledgeable and understanding. How ever I can not forgive the wait time. My appointment was for 10 and did not see anyone until 12. On top of that they tried to reschedule my appointment 9:35 AM
There was also an issue with my prescription. I have a flex card and many mom and pop shops do not accept my card. I explained this to him and he senT it to mom and pop shop any way.
After an hour of waiting for my prescription to get fulled my card was denied. I had to go back to doctor and request to have my prescription to be sent to rite aid.

I was going to Presbyterian clinics nearby for my appointments, but the doctors there dismissed my concerns. When I changed doctors, it was a miracle. Dr. Batlle treated me like an actual person.

The way this review section is set up doesn't allow for adequately describing the experience. I have no complaints about Dr. Batlle himself. However, the wait time undoes any merit of seeing any doctor. I sat and waited, was called in after a half hour to be weighed and measured, and then waited. Another half hour went by and I had to leave so I came back an hour later and waited another 45 minutes. I was told there "were a lot of patients," which either wasn't true or which should have been reflected in the available times for appointments shown on ZocDoc.
I would never go back to this clinic.

Dr. Battle is great. I research the things I'm going to see him about online prior to going and it seems like he's fully aware and up to date with all the treatment options available. His advice always seems honest and never comes across as trying to push or sell you towards anything. He and his excellent staff being bilingual is a plus. The heights is fortunate to have him. +++

I've had several primary doctors through the years for different reasons. Whether I didn't like their professionalism, their office staff, wait time, etc. but I am happy to have finally found a primary doctor that offer excellence in every category. Not only was I impressed with his professionalism, concern and overall care, but his staff was wonderful. I'm glad to finally have found a doctor that's a keeper!

Dr. Jose Batlle was wonderful. He was thorough, and I didn't feel rushed through my appointment. He saw me when I needed to be seen, as opposed to other offices that would see me at their convenience. I was nervous to find a new doctor, however was very happy and highly recommend Dr. Jose Batlle.
