Dr. Harvey was raised in northeastern Pennsylvania. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Materials Engineering he decided to serve a two year mission trip with his church in northeastern Brazil. During his time there he decided to change his focus and pursue a career in medicine and, after returning, completed a Masters degree in Biology from Texas A&M – Commerce. He graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014.
He returned to Texas to complete a three-year podiatric residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston. During his residency he received advanced training in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, sports medicine, and arthroscopic techniques. He is committed to an integrative approach to podiatry emphasizing a balance between the latest medical techniques and compassionate care of the whole patient. He has a special interest in alleviating chronic pain, stem cell therapy, and orthobiologics enabling patients to return to activity as quickly as safely possible.
After graduation from residency, Dr. Harvey accepted a position with Alliance Foot & Ankle Specialists and is excited to begin a career in the Dallas area. Dr. Harvey has a passion for history, philosophy, classical art, and theology. In his free time he enjoys snowboarding, gaming, shooting, and ballroom dance.
Dr. Harvey will be practicing in our Lancaster location Serving the members of the VA. and assisting in the care of patients in VA North Texas Health Care System.

Dr. Harvey did not make eye contact the whole 5 minutes he was in the room. He explained everything really fast, and it was overwhelming. He recommended a steroid shot to me, which I have been unresponsive to in the past. He then got very passive-aggressive toward me. I was told that the x-rays would be reviewed with me in the room, but he left in a hurry. He seemed extremely annoyed that I called him back in to show me the x-rays. He then made a very condescending comment. I was not impressed with his bedside manner and I will not be going back.

I sat in the waiting room for over an hour before being called back. So things started out a bit rough there.
The provider did not listen to the chief complaint and started talking the minute he came in the room rather than seeking to understand and listen first.
His staff had also gotten my insurance information wrong, so it appeared I was self-pay on the sheet he had. Within the first 2 minutes of the exam, he judgementally remarked how "there were a lot of treatment options available but they would all cost me money." Not a problem, I actually have insurance, and my OOP was met. And even if I didn't have insurance, there's no reason to judge a patient by that!
What he never knew because he didn't take time to pause in his assessment to even listen to me speak was he was actually talking to another engineer turned doctor too. Go figure. So maybe hopping off his proverbial high horse would have provided both of us a better experience.

Dr. Harvey and his receptionist, Julia, and the nurse, Audrey, are all such lovely people! The office is very elegant and professional as well. It’s a judgement-free zone in there for sure. I was immediately comfortable and felt confident that they knew what they were talking about. Very knowledgeable, and personable. Looking forward to my follow up appointment in a couple of weeks!
