Overall great first experience with Dr. Luna. The staff was so kind and efficient and the visit with the doctor was not rushed whatsoever. Got into deep conversation and he genuinely cared about making sure we had all our bases covered. Helped me diagnose something I never knew I had with the utmost professionalism and compassion. The staff was extremely fast and kind as well. Very clean too. Found my new primary

During my initial appointment, Dr. Luna came in and started talking to me like he has known me for years. He asked questions pertaining to my diagnosis that showed he genuinely cared about my well-being... to put it plainly, he didn't just write a prescription and send me on my way.
I appreciate the *genuinely* personable nature of Dr. Luna. I will recommend him to all my friends and family.
I can not forget the support staff for Dr. Luna as they were all friendly and worked to ensure that every patient that came in was taken care of in a timely manner. Michelle (sp?), who was at the front desk, greeted me and every other patient that walked in, even if she was handling other tasks, and gave a clear, quantifiable wait time. She was calm and adorably sweet, even when neither her system nor printer were working for her.
I'm grateful to have found Dr. Luna's office.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Luna. My past experiences at a doctors' offices sometimes felt rushed and perfunctory. Not that I had any doubts about the doctors' assessments, advice or anything (and I respect the legitimate hurry and time-crunch that can come with that sort of profession), but this visit showed me that those past visits really did lack a personal, empathetic touch that can come from slowing down a bit (or a lot). Even though I was told in the waiting room that things were running behind schedule, Dr. Luna took what seemed in my experience like an unusually great amount of time to talk, get to know me a bit, give advice, and address my concerns and that really stood out. My insurance is about to change, but I intend to come back in the future if possible.

Luna suggested that I consider weight loss surgery and fat shamed me. I appreciate being told that he was concerned about my overall health and should consider a change to my diet, but I felt that he went over the line, was shameful and unprofessional. I left in tears. Telling people that are overweight that they need to lose weight, and that they are morbidly obese is not helpful. We are plenty aware of how fat we are. I was not seeing him regarding my weight. I will not be seeing him again.

To be honest I don’t know how I feel about Dr. Luna. He seemed very nice and he was thorough but something about him just didn’t click. I told him that I was sick in the past and that I was young when I got sick. He seemed so shocked and couldn’t believe it. I didn’t need that I need answers and ways to overcome the after effects. Like I said he was very nice and polite.

Dr. Joseph is definitely a professional who does actually what his bio says, "HE LISTENS".
