he was very pleasant
I was there for 3 hrs. Way too long since the time spent w/ MD was minimal. They work very late which I didn't know & haven't seen at any other medical ofc. I left there at 6:30. I suppose that's a good thing however, I had arranged to meet a friend at rest for dinner & had to cancel it because was still there way beyond time I estimated would be. Thank G-d for cell phones.
I arrived at 2:45 for a 3:00 apt as a returning patient. I waited in the waiting area until 4:00, watching people who came in after me go back for their appointments. I finally got to a room shortly after 4:00 only to be told by the nurse that I was #3 in that group of people to be seen and it would be at least another half hour wait. Shortly after 4:30 the dr. came in. He was with me for about 5 minutes, went off to find the nurse, and came back a short time later and did the procedure within 10 minutes. I was then free to check out, which took another 10 minutes due to the long line of people waiting, finally walking out the door after 5:00. In my 2+ hours of being there I was actually with the dr. for less than 15 minutes - pitiful.
I know Dr. }Purita for many years, he is a very knowledgeable doctor and always gives me the correct treatmen
Excellent happy to use the online appointment option because they rarely answer the phone
The Doc visit was fine.
I feel I'm the best hands possible for my ailment
He is very professional and an "old school" type of doctor but with cutting edge knowledge at same time..
He's very experienced and definitely comfortable explaining all medical problems in detail. The office is very friendly.
Warm manner..very professional...not an alarmist but practical..took steps for further MRI to get to root of problem.
I arrived on time for my appointment. I had to wait over 2hrs before I was even called in to exam room. When i asked front desk about long wait she said it was because Dr returned from vacation and people wanted to be seen. What is the point in making appointment if i don't get seen on time. I took permission at work for 2hrs. But ended up using half day time off because they over booked. After I was taken to exam room I again had to wait. Finally I was seen by Dr who rushed to finish conversation with me in 5min by saying I need physical therapy. Didn't explain the results of test in detail or the care to be taken.
Had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to see the doctor for all of five minutes. The doctor was running 2 HOURS behind?!?! And the office couldn't call his patients and give them a heads up/the option to reschedule?!?!
Nice guy, knowledgeable and personable
Excellent doctor, I know him for many years
Dr. Purita has been my orthopedic doctor for the last 3 years. He is an incredible professional that uses a holistic approach with the latest advices in orthopedics available.
Was good, got what I needed, however the wait time was painfully slow. I showed up at 2:15pm for a 2:30pm appointment and did not see a little Italian man with a Medical Degree until 4:30pm. The nurses were friendly, I felt bad, they were all wondering where the Doctor was, then his assistant was shocked and had no idea he still had 3 patients remaining, she thought he was done for the day. When the doctor showed up I spent less than 5 minutes with him, he checked me out, gave me a cortisone shot and sent me on my way. Very friendly and helpful. A lot of hurry up and wait for something that should have taken 5 minutes. Grateful my knee is feeling better though.
A no nonsense man. Quick results. Had a trigger finger. Painful shot but started helping that evening.
Very satisfied with visit. Will schedule again for recheck.
Did not want to do very much...chose to do multiple shots of cortizone even after telling him it didn't help.
Great guy with a funny personality. Good help and advice for a shoulder injury.
I have been to him several times in the last twenty years or so. Occasional visits. Good doctor, but wait times are over extended..
The staff was very pleasant.
Dr. was great! The scheduling is very bad. The staff was friendly and did allow me to leave and come back w/o loosing my place.
Once I got to the see him it was good, but I waited 2.5 hours with little to no communication from office staff.
very good.
good
Very good and answered all my questions
Dr Purita explained the procedure well. Things are always changing with advancements in this field and it is very evident that Dr Purita keeps abreast of new developments and is confidant of its outcome. IMO it is worth the risk!
Dr. Purita was very nice and knowledgeable, however after a very long wait, he seemed to be in quite a hurry. The staff could be a little more pleasant and friendly.
Long wait but it went well otherwise
Clearly, Dr. Purita is professional and expert. The office, on the other hand, is like a factory - and a wait of more than an hour is unacceptable - even if they do have the courtesy to tell you that when you walk in. I am also a busy professional and would have appreciated more courtesy.
Happy I didn't have a long wait like I have had in the past.
Very personable, good communication made the whole experience a pleasant one. Dr. Purita took the time to explain my X-rays. He actually showed me my issues as he explained my options. My favorite part was that he is not an alarmist. Thank you ....
