My training as an osteopath has taught me to view the mind, body, and spirit in every evaluation and assessment of my patients. This is especially important in psychiatric assessments. I will do a comprehensive assessment and see how the biological, psychological, and social issues in someone's past and current life are interacting to contribute to their current symptoms. I can assure you my best effort to help relieve your symptoms.
My experience working in multiple capacities over the last 4 years at a busy academic institution (Maimonides Medical Center) in Brooklyn has helped me become a better clinician. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked extensively with residents and medical students teaching and supervising, which has forced me to stay informed with the latest biological and therapeutic treatments for psychiatric illnesses.
My hobbies include traveling and sports. I am currently one of the team psychiatrists for the Brooklyn Nets. I have been told by my patients that I am a great listener, empathic, responsive and reliable.
