I have been seeing Dr. Joshua Ackerman for many years now, and I would never see another doctor again. He is a doctor that truly cares for his patients in a way I have never experienced with other doctors. Dr. Joshua Ackerman made the impossible possible for us and only through his care were we able to welcome a healthy baby into the world. We are forever grateful to him.

Joshua S. Ackerman, MD is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and his Master of Medical Science degree before receiving his Medical Doctorate degree from the American University School of Medicine. Specializing in advanced laparoscopic techniques, Dr. Ackerman is one of few Obstetrician/Gynecologists in the area who is experienced with the Da Vinci ™ Robotic Surgical System. He has published numerous articles on his scientific research in current medical journals. Dr. Ackerman has also been honored by Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital School of Medicine for his expertise in training residents in their Obstetrics and Gynecology residency programs.

I took my mother who does not speak English. Dr. Ackerman was very attentive, spoke directly to her, explained in simple terms, offered choices and provided recommendations for her care. She left very pleased and reassured. Looking forward to surgery and recovery.

Dr. Ackerman is a fantastic physician. He is caring and honest. The wait time is directly related to the amount of time Dr. Ackerman spends with his patients. I'd rather wait and get quality care than be rushed and still have questions.

He's a very hands on doctor he made me feel comfortable and informative. He took the time to explain things to me in detail and answer any questions that I had. He even gave me some background on how his pratice was developed and his staff are super friendly..I love doctor Josh and his staff and I looking forward to my next visit which is today.
