Although I’ve seen several doctors at GW thru the years, this doctor was new to me. He was very good, but I don’t think he reviewed my history before the appointment. The biggest disappointment was the nurses assistant. She was borderline rude, and when I couldn’t remember dates of medical service she was agitated and would roll her eyes.

Dr. Campbell is very congenial and knowledgeable. He answered a lot of my questions and concerns. I would have liked to talk to him longer, but he had to meet with another patient. However, we are setting up a telemedicine appointment so I'll ask additional questions then.

Dr. Joshua Campbell is a total joint specialist with fellowship training in complex primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty as well as hip arthroscopy. He completed his residency at Cedar Sinai Los Angeles and went on to obtain a fellowship at University of Minnesota in Adult Reconstruction. During his training at Cedar Sinai, Dr. Campbell was elected chief resident by his peers and was awarded the Leo G. Rigler Award for academic excellence.
In his training Dr. Campbell took a special interest in less invasive hip surgery and has published papers and presented data at national meetings on the topic. He performs a direct superior approach total hip, which may allow for improved early recovery as compared to more traditional approaches.
Dr. Campbell has also trained extensively in hip arthroscopy and has interest in treating femoroacetabular impingement and hip labral tearing.

Dr. Campbell was friendly and I feel like talking to him has set me on a good path for treatment.
The office experience, however, left a lot to be desired as it was one of the slower medical appointments I've ever been to. It was frustrating to arrive early for my appointment only to be made to wait for hours before seeing the doctor.

Dr. Campbell has the best bedside manners. The staff was very pleasant and helpful(cheerful). Dr. Campbell listen gave me a plan I agreed with and gave me a date for follow up if the plan works or not. Would highly recommend, office also has late office hours which was a plus for me
