One if the better doctor experiences I have had anytime recently. Very professional and organized office.
Outstanding and professional. Took all the time necessary to explain my issues and went the extra mile in reassuring me. I never felt rushed.
Excellent experience. Provided great medical advice.
Doctor Oppenheim was great. He diagnosed the problem and offered a solution that other doctors we have seen have not offered. His medical assistant was very friendly and kind. The receptionist that checked us in was not.
There phone answering system is one of the most horrible, non-user friendly I have ever heard. Multiple, confusing choices. I just wanted to talk the front desk person; but you have to go through a maze to get there. A complete turn off, and a potential reason not to come back! Fix it!
Dr. Oppenheim was great. He only checked my son out for a few minutes, but he is clearly experienced because that's all it took for him to discuss next steps. He then sat with my husband and I for as long as we needed (about 20 mins or so) talking about his recommendations and answering the hundreds of questions we had. We did not feel rushed in any way and he was not pushy at all about his recommendation. He doesn't give off the 'Just do as I say' attitude that some successful physicians do.
My husband recommended him due to the fact he did such an excellent job with his surgery.
I've had two appointments to this office in last three months but for two different issues. Both times, staff were very pleasant and wait time was a very few minutes. The first visit was for a simpler issue and the second one will require additional testing, however I have a positive view at this point about both the office staff and Dr. Oppenheim.
Good experience. No wait time. Professional
Dr Oppenheim always listens carefully to the problem and explains all the options and takes the time necessary to answers all questions.
I appreciated Dr. Oppenheim's thoroughness and care.
I was pleased with the professionalism of Dr.Joshua Oppenheim, MD and the oustanding service.
Am I dying? I had a biopsy. I was told "results in 2 business days". About 4 business days later, I call. "You don't need to call us for results! We will call you." 14 days after the biopsy, they call me. I call back 9 minutes later. I go through the correct menu options. The guy has no clue who called me. He even says "No Eva works here". Huh? Finally, 22 minutes after my call -- multiple hold times -- I get to talk to Eva -- She asks me if I had the biopsy done! She didn't look at my chart! Nobody called to get my results! If you think you are dying, DON'T GO HERE, they don't do the due diligence of actually finding out your biopsy results! Eva and/or whoever is in charge of doing that should be fired.
Dr. Oppenheim was courteous and professional. He took my health history (rather than having a nurse do it) and listened intently the whole time. He asked a lot of questions, which I appreciated. He explained his initial thoughts clearly and made sure to describe all of the tests and checks he was doing throughout the examination. His follow-up instructions were also very clear. Overall, I had a great experience seeing Dr. Oppenheim.
This was the last follow-up I had with Dr. Oppenheim. He had removed a large polyp from my vocal chords two months ago. He came highly recommended to me. I couldn't be happier with my outcome.
The good doctor went straight at the symptoms and performed "rule out" procedures. Within 10 minutes, we had the good news that all looked normal. He then went further to scope and to perform deeper inspection which also proved normal. He answered pur questions and we left with feeling of ease. High regards for his professionalism.
My son is a patient of Dr. Oppenheim. He performed his tube surgery and all follow up appointments. He is great with my son (just turned 4 years old). We highly recommend him!
Great doctor who clearly explains a diagnosis and follow-up plan.
Very professional and knowledgeable
I don't have any complaints about my visit. Dr Oppenheim is always nice.
I felt he wasn't interested in hearing what I had to say. I tried explaining my history and he just ignored it. He did his tests and made made his diagnosis. Unfortunately, there are few doctors who will actually take the time to listen to a patient. They seem too hurried. Not a big problem other wasting a couple of hours. There are good doctors out there but it takes time to find one.
I was very pleased with both the doctor and his staff. I would recommend him highly. He was very thorough and explained things clearly.
I have seen Dr Joshua Oppenheim two times. He has been always very prompt and focused. He was very professional and prompt in analyzing my problem and providing medical advice. I am glad to recommend him highly to any patient who asks for any ENT diseases.. .
I was impressed with Dr. Oppenheim. He found the problem and treated me immediately. Seemed truly caring about my problem.
The front office staff is very personable and Dr. Oppenheim listened and answered my concerns.
Dr. Oppenheimer was recommended by our Primary Physician. He diagnosed the problem right away for my husband, and explained what the treatment was. He also explained what the follow-up would need to be. Happy to recommend him.
He was very rude and arrogant. The experience was new for me with a doctor. I would never recommend him and certainly would never go back there.
The doctor was prompt, listened to my concerns and explained what course of action he thought was best. He is experienced and takes what is best for the patient into consideration.
He seemed bothered by my questions and didn't make us feel like our daughter mattered much. Most of our questions he answered with a yes or no and he seemed annoyed when we pressed him for more details. I'm not even sure why we needed to see him at all. unfortunately he'll still get paid for basically telling us nothing.
He is trusted and even revered by our family. He has treated a number of us and we wouldn't go anywhere else.
He showed me the results of the tests and was very thorough in his explanation of the treatment to alleviate the issue.
It was an excellent experience. Front office was very courteous. We did not have to wait and were called in at the right time. Doctor was highly professional and am very satisfied with the high quality of his professional service. Indra Gulati
The front staff is great, always friendly and willing to help with any questions! During my visit, however, I felt Dr Oppenheim did not truly answer the questions I had. I had to argue over specific medications and I felt like he was talking down to me as if I did not understand what I was talking about. I am sure he is great for other topics but I do not think he was a great allergist.
This is how a doctor's visit should be. Dr. Oppenheim is a professional in every aspect. Prompt, informative, cordial, helpful and patient. And, above all extremely knowledgeable. Very pleased.
Very professional , and very nice person
Dr. Oppenheim is very professional and does well at explaining things during the appointment. He also developed rapport with my daughter when he came in.
Was seeing him for the first time since my previous doc retired. Was very easy to interact with. Very competent and knowledgeable. Judy at the front desk was very nice.
It was a very pleasant and timely visit. Staff is very accommodating!
Direct and to the point. He explains well. Feel comfortable going to him.
The overall appointment was good. they were also able to squeeze me in to see the hearing specialist. The front office staff was also very nice.
Pleasant experience. Dr. Oppenheim is knowledgeable, professional and confident. Would definitely recommend him.
Very intelligent, quick thinker. Clear and logical explanations. He is personable, but he does not waste time. He is aggressve in solving the problem and prescribing treatment. I liked him, and I recommend him highly.
Dr. Oppenheim is excellent. He explains everything is a very clear manner, giving you all the options, such that you can make a decision about your treatment.
He really took the time to listen to the problem I was having and didn't minimize the issue.
Only my first visit, but seemed like a well-run office. Very friendly greeting upon arrival, which is definitely comforting. Only concern: please, when you (meaning front-desk staff) call with lab results, etc., slow down! Too many (mainly young?) people speak so rapidly these days that it's hard to comprehend what's being said, not to mention writing it down.
Very thorough and informative - quickly eliminated any ENT issue contributing to my problem and recommended further follow up with another professional
I did not get the result I was looking for. I made three visits, and I still have the symptoms I had in the beginning.. So no my visits were not beneficial.
Dr. Oppenheim took me as a new patient after I had fallen. He thoroughly checked and explained things completely. I certainly would return to him. His staff was easy to work with, as well.
Seemed very knowledgeable - took his time to ask a lot of questions about my health history. Listened attentively and answered all of my questions. His answers gave me the reassurance I needed! He definitely is an expert in his field.
Always beneficial , I will certainly go back .
outstanding. I would definitely recommend him to a friend and I plan to hold on to Dr Oppenheim as my ENT doctor for life . he took out my daughters tonsils many years ago.
I was nervous because this was for my 18 month old. He came highly recommended by two other doctors but read that his bedside manner was average. My husband and I felt his approach to our daughter was excellent and appropriate and he gave us very reassuring advice. He was friendly and a perfect fit for what we need. The office staff was welcoming and very punctual. Great office.
I came late to the office and the doctor was willing see me. He did a remarkable job on my neck and i would definitely recommend him to others. His work is like a science to him - he gathers all the information he can before making a solid conclusion. He delivers a diagnosis with compassion and honesty. His experience as a surgeon is excellent. As I mentioned about my neck, you can barely see the scar from where a tomato-sized tumor was removed. This medical group sees everyone, they have a children's play area where I saw two kids playing during my visit. Everyone knows you have to have patience when dealing with children and they seem very welcome here. If you have any ENT issue or need a second opinion, I strongly recommend you visit Dr. Oppenheim.
The appointment was quick, very nice staff and LOVE the doctor. He explained things so that I understood and feel that when I get to the next stage with my issues, he will be there to help guide me .
Dr. Oppenheim is very intelligent, engaged and fully communicative. He covered all the considerations, with his observations, options as to course of action, yet clearly not pushing any procedure. This included describing the 'wait, observe and report' approach. We liked him very much and, from the personal observations, I have no doubt in his talents as a gifted surgeon. We scheduled straight away. The procedure, itself, was also handled superbly, and we remain very happy to recommend Dr. O to any seeking a consult on EN&T matters.
Very professional and informative. Dr. Oppenhem listened carefully to all my concerns and answered all of my questions in a thorough and easy to understand manner. Very Pleased with my consultation.
I took my son to Dr. Oppenheim 25 years ago and today was the first appointment for my grandsons. Love him. :)
I like that He takes His time to explain my question very clear. I really like the Dr.
Great. He is a great doctor, thoroughly explains your condition and different treatment options, very pleasant personality.
The whole office were welcoming. The doctor was very professional and had called the MRI center to check what they found.
Very positive experience all the way around.
Horrible! I would never recommend anyone to go here and I will never return. Scheduling my appointment through zocdoc was difficult because the doctors office kept changing it. The reception lady had the audacity to tell me Zocdoc was the worst way to schedule an appointment...really? I've used this website so many times and have never had issues. I was 4 minutes late for my appointment and they had me waiting for 30 minutes without any explanation or apologies. Everyone there has a cold demeanor, almost rude. The reception lady WAS straight up rude. The doctor was ok. Nothing special, not really friendly, unenthusiastic. Spent 3 minutes w me, no specific recommendations outside of the things I'm already doing. No meds, no prescription, not even a specific "do this" for better results. And when I went to pay for my co-pay their credit card machine wasn't working...so she swiped it twice and when it didn't go through she said "some people have called in to say that the charges appeared on their online statement, some even said it charged them twice...so look out for that" seriously??? A little more professional office would have just said that their credit card machine is down and to await a bill. No apologies, no professionalism and certainly no customer service! STAY AWAYYY!
Dr. Oppenheim is a very smart and knowable physician. I took my son to his office after another doctor (who was rated top at Arlington hospital) had misdiagnosed him and screwed up his surgery. The first doctor failed to remove all my Son’s adenoid completely and left a piece of it hanging in the back of his throat. When my son started to complain again 4 moth after the surgery, the first doctor said he might have cancer. You can imagine how that made us all feel. I looked up Dr. Oppenheim and took my son to him for a consultation and he calmed us down and correctly diagnosed the problem. He did the second surgery and removed the left over adenoid. I highly recommend him.
Great ENT! I'm glad I finally found a good one!
Dr. Oppenheim was very professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed my problems and answered all of my concerns. I was very please with my visit.
Nice office staff
Needed to see this doctor right before the Christmas holidays. Did not seem rushed, took time to answer my questions.
Straightforward and highly competent. Good to get an accurate diagnosis to discern between viral and bacterial sinusitis, to avoid unnecessary antibiotics. Also good to know that I can move to a surgical treatment if my medical condition warrants it.
Very professional and nice. The entire staff, from reception to audiologist, helpful and very pleasant. Second visit....extremely happy with ZocDoc experience.
The staff is professional and the Dr. is great!
Welcoming and professional administrative staff, medical assistants, and clinicians. We've been patients of Dr. Oppenheim for more than fifteen years; he's a top doctor in his field and his staff is top notch, as well.
His advice was straight forward and understandable as he helped me understand the various considerations I face regarding whether or not to proceed with a relatively expensive out of pocket treatment technique.
He told me everything I needed to know to proceed confidently with further treatment for my medical issues.
He was very helpful and explained what he had to do during my visit. He took the time to answer my questions and gave me good feedback with my overall issues.
I waiting for 20min. My prob was not solved. He just recommanded to some other doctor. Overall experience was good.
I was very comfortable with our discussion and his diagnosis and recommendations. A positive experience.
He's a straight shooter. I really like that.
Dr. Oppenheim was professional and personable at the same time. Quickly diagnosed my problem and effected a solution. Experienced and competent. Office wait time could be cut a bit to make the experience better.
Very pleased with both the office visit and the staff.
Excellent treatment and manner. I recommend highly.
I was very impressed that he took his time to listen to me.
He's knowledgeable, patient and explains everything. He cited an article and study during our conversation which tells me he loves his craft and continues to stay abreast of the latest research. He's listed as a former Washingtonian Magazine Top Doc and displays it proudly, as he should!
Dr. Oppenheim was attentive and clearly explained recommendations. He spent a lot of time answering the many questions I had and I never felt rushed.
He's really precessional and I really recommend going to this doctor he knows what's he's doing
Great operation. This office really is on the ball. I never waited more than five minutes and both doctors showed a genuine interest in my case. I felt the exams and consultations were thorough and informative.
He was extremely helpful and I was glad to know finally know what was suffering from.
Great doc. Would see him again.
I have seen Dr. Oppenheim before and I feel very comfortable with his recommendations and treatments. I will be following up with another appointment next week.
Dr. Oppenheim is compassionate, knowledgable, and kind.
Very positive visit with Dr. Oppenheim. Short wait to see him, short time for answer to my problem, good information, and doctor is very understandable. Highly recomment him.
Dr. Oppenheim was very courteous. He answered all the questions I had at the appointment.
He was very nice and respond to my questions in good patience. He speaks to me like a friend.
