Dr. Shofner is friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and very patient-focused. I was seen right away on a SATURDAY which was impressive and it didn't take me long to get an appointment. All that plus the option to book online puts Dr. Shofner and his office on the top of my list for dermatologists.

Dr Shofner saw me within 10 mins of my scheduled appt, which for most MDs is unheard of. I also felt like he took a good amount of time explaining things to me as well as going over the medicine he prescribed. All in all, a very impressive first appt. I will see him again and recommend as well!

I was a few minutes early, so the waiting was mostly my fault. I was ushered in just about exactly on the time of my appointment. Dr. Shofner is friendly and warm and listens when I speak. His explanations were clear, in readily understandable terms. I would not hesitate to recommend his services to others looking for a dermatologist.

I was only in there for a routine screening for unusual growths, but just in the short interaction I had with Dr. Shofner, he gave the impression of being highly competent, he explained things in a manner I could easily understand, and he told me things about various kinds of moles and skin discolorations that I had not heard from other dermatologists that will help me in the future to know whether a particular blemish is something I should have checked out or not. Excellent bedside manner. Very easy to talk to.

Easily the best dermatologist I've ever seen, and I've seen at least half a dozen in the Boston area alone over the years. He's intelligent, kind, and up to date with modern treatments. I refuse to go to anyone else.

Very personable and extremely professional. He saw me right away and offered multiple treatment options and reassured my doubts on antibiotic side effects. I've honestly never felt more comfortable with a doctor before, it was the first time I have never felt awkward. I am going to recommend him anyone in the area who is in need of a Dermatologist.

Dr. Shofner was excellent. Wait was a bit longer than ideal. If I could change one thing about their office, it would be to add guest WiFi--the office is in a dead zone for cell coverage. Having access to email, etc. would have helped with the wait.

Dr. Shofner was extremely thorough in addressing all of my questions and concerns. He delivers medical information in a way that is understandable and retainable and when he stated the actual medical term for my diagnosis he voluntarily wrote it down on a piece of paper so I could take it home. While it may sound like a small gesture, it is an act I rarely experience at the doctors... and really appreciated.

Dr. Shofner is the best dermatologist I have ever seen in 30 years of being seen by top people in MA,NY, and NJ. I drive 30 miles to see him and I still feel fortunate that he is my dermatologist. Great manner, unrushed, and very efficient. Highly recommended!
