About Dr. Miaoyuan Wang

Miaoyuan Wang, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist who’s dedicated to providing thorough, personalized skin care to every patient she treats. Her innovative and respected practice, Integrated Dermatology of Brookline, has two office locations in Brookline and Andover, Massachusetts. Dr. Wang specializes in diagnosing, treating, and managing all types of skin conditions, ranging from chronic acne and inflammatory psoriasis to melanoma and other forms of skin cancer. She performs a wide variety of surgical procedures, too, including routine in-office excisions of benign lesions and malignant skin tumors. She’s also an expert in Mohs micrographic surgery, a sophisticated and painstaking technique designed to eradicate skin cancer as thoroughly and efficiently as possible. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Florida with an undergraduate degree in fine arts, Dr. Wang earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Upon graduation, she completed an internship in internal medicine at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. She then completed her residency training in dermatology, followed by her fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology, at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island, where she served as chief resident and fellow. Dr. Wang was raised in China and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, painting, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Wang was fairly communicative, but I wish she had talked with me more. She said she wasn't sure what was causing my rash, thought it might be a cream I was using and told me to stop use, but offered no other information. I came away with many questions unfortunately.
