Dr. Joyce Egbe is both a mother and a PEDIATRICIAN, and so she truly understands parents’ concerns. She enjoys spending time with her two young children; they are her inspiration for providing exceptional physical and emotional care for her patients and their families.
Before creating Kids Haven Pediatrics, Dr. Egbe cared for children at South Texas Medical Clinics as well as Gulf Coast Medical Center where she gained additional experience caring for newborns. In addition, she has worked as a pediatrician at Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates and pediatric urgent care centers.
Outside of work, she enjoys participating in charity walks such as Beach to Bay, Breastfeeding Awareness, and the American Heart Association. She has volunteered in Nigeria as an ophthalmic assistant and medical officer assisting the visually impaired.

Absolutely amazing experience! My daughter is not a fan of the doctor by far. Dr. Gene was able to calm her down within seconds and before I knew it she was smiling. This visit was quick and accurate now my daughter is feeling great!
