About Amber Perez

Amber is a native Houstonian and dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a career long dedication to caring for children and families. She began her nursing journey with an Associate Degree in Nursing from San Jacinto College in 2007 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2020. Most recently, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Pediatric Primary Care from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2025.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking new recipes, traveling to different beaches, and taking on DIY projects around the house.

My daughter needed blood drawn, I was told they could not locate her vein and were moving the needle around while still in her arm. My vein is also hard to locate, and I've never had nurses move the needle while still inside me.
