Juan-Carlos Izquierdo, D.C. is a licensed New York State Chiropractor and is New York State Board Certified. He has a B.S. Degree in Applied Psychology from Farleigh Dickinson University and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta.
He continues his study of the discipline, having taken advanced courses in Upper Extremity Diagnosis and Treatment and Lumbar Diagnosis and Treatment at NYU Medical School, and Sports Rehabilitation and the Athlete at New York Chiropractic College. Juan-Carlos is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician from New York Chiropractic College and certified in Ergonomics from the Atlanta Back School.
His expertise and dedication have been recognized by The Children Are Precious Foundation, where he was Medical Professional of the year for 2004, and he is a recipient of a “9/11 Volunteer Medical Personnel Citation” from New York City Fire Department and “9/11 Service Beyond Call of Duty Citation” from New York Chiropractic Council.
