More about Julia Anne Cyr, FNP
Julia is excited to join the team at Arizona Gynecology Consultants. After receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University, she worked several years as a nurse in step down trauma and cardiac units at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital. Julia also served as a traveling nurse, gaining invaluable experience at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California and Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Julia went on to earn a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona where she focused on family practice with a specialty in women’s health.
Julia has always had a passion for delivering healthcare to women at all ages and stages of life but has special interests in contraception management, hormone replacement, adolescents and especially in wellness, nutrition and weight loss. She is excited to address women’s health concerns in addition to helping them meet their weight loss and healthy lifestyle goals.
When not at work, she is usually outside running or inside doing yoga. She also dedicates an inordinate amount of time raising her awkward but lovable dog, Samson (with the limited help of her equally unruly husband). She also enjoys volunteering in medical mission trips, frequently in Sonoyta, Mexico where she treats women, men and children in a medically underserved community.
