Dr. Hermos is a caring and attentive physician who practices internal medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is affiliated with Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Hermos received her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, where she also completed her residency in internal medicine. Dr. Hermos is a skilled listener, who is committed to providing her patients with compassionate care. She believes that effective communication is essential to good medical care, and is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, an organization that seeks to develop doctors’ interpersonal skills so that they can form caring, long-term relationships with patients. Dr. Hermos has a master’s degree in education and was a classroom teacher for many years. She encourages her patients to ask questions and voice concerns, and she works hard to educate her patients about their health and healthcare needs.
