Dr. Samaddar is perfect. However, her staff was very slow and overall created a horrible customer experience (from being left alone in rooms for extended periods of time to asking the same questions over and over again).

Dr. Julia Samaddar is a Georgia native and received her Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Public Health form the Medical College of Georgia. Prior to graduate school, she attended Emory University and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry.
Dr. Samaddar’s desire to pursue a surgical specialty which also allowed her to focus on primary care led her down the path of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her residency training from the Medical College of Georgia, which included training in High-risk Obstetrics, Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility as well as Urogynecology. She is also trained in minimally invasive gynecological procedures and surgeries, including the da Vinci robotic surgery.
She has been a part of several medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic, Peru and India to provide care for underserved women. She has been active in teaching, mentoring and working with medical students and residents and has been regularly given teaching awards during her training.
She recently moved to Atlanta with her two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, reading and cooking.

She was fantastic. Super nice and very caring. She took the time to talk with me about a lot of the different birth control options for me and even talked with me about some other concerns I had that were unrelated to OBGYN.

I liked the doctor a lot! It is a shame that she works for this office. Dr. Samaddar was very knowledgable and detailed. My concern is related to the after-visit treatment. I did not hear anything back from the office for over 2 weeks, until I started calling daily asking to speak to a nurse. Each time, the receptionist (Joy), would tell me that the nurse will give me a call back, and that never happened. I find this to be super unprofessional and frustrating. God forbid, I needed some immediate attention based on my results. I still have not yet received an indication of my lab results. I check the portal that they advised daily, and there is nothing. If they are not good with calling back, the least they can do is update my lab results online. Safe to say, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS CLINIC

The Physician that seen me was nice as well as staff. My only concern is that I had a morning appointment and was told that my prescription would be sent to my pharmacy. It was never sent over even after I called twice. The office closed for the day at 5 pm and I was still without prescription and in pain.

Although the wait was a bit longer than expected, the overall experience was really wonderful. The entire staff including Dr. Samaddar was very kind, helpful and pleasant to talk to. Probably one of the best gyn visits I have ever had.
