Julie Fridlington, MD received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She subsequently completed both her Internship in Internal Medicine and Dermatology specialty training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. During her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident and was awarded the medical student teaching award for excellence in Dermatology instruction.
Dr. Fridlington was born and raised in Iowa and earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She has published articles in several scientific journals and has been involved in multiple dermatology presentations at scholarly meetings. Dr. Fridlington’s interests include adult and pediatric medical dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Fridlington is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Medical Association, and Travis County Medical Society.
