Dr. Julie Nguyen was born and raised in Texas and originally from the nearby suburb Duncanville. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington summa cum laude and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then left the DFW metroplex to attend medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB) where she was graduated with honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Shortly after finishing her one year transitional internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, she moved out of state to complete her three year dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.
After many years away, she is excited to finally return back home to Dallas. Dr. Nguyen’s professional interests include general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and also fluent in Vietnamese. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.
