I had been searching for months to find a psychiatrist here. I recently moved from Texas and it’s been hell trying to find a good doctor. For some reason most psychiatrists in Springfield seem to think that despite having a medical history covering 5 years of ADHD that you still need to pay up to get retested (by their doctors on their terms). Not with Dr. Bernardi. He’s honestly the coolest psych I’ve ever met. Not to mention the MOST UNDERSTANDING. I didnt feel like I was drug seeking addict (shoutout to Eustasis for that one). I felt like he really cared and genuinely wanted to get me back on my meds that I had been without for months. I highly recommend

More about Dr. Julio Mocellin Bernardi, MD
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING, WE CHARGE CANCELLATION FEES. We do not take insurance, and payment is expected at the time of your visit. Our fees are based on the actual time we talk:
- $150 for 15 minutes
- $200 for 30 minutes
- $350 for 60 minutes
There is a cancellation fee of half the price of the appointment if it is cancelled less than 24 hours from the appointment, and if you miss your appointment without cancelling you're still going to be charged for the appointment. You will have to fill credit card information and credit card authorization in the intake forms, and once you do that I will confirm your appointment. You can pay for your visits with card, Venmo, Paypal, Bitcoin or Ethereum, and there is a 10% discount for the latter two. We require a credit card on file to charge for missed appointments.
It's best to fill the credit card information and credit card authorization as soon as possible, because the requested time is not fully reserved to you until you have done so.

He really saved me today.. I have been trying to get an appointment with a new doctor an i could not be seen for 3 months .I have been out of my medications for 2 months I was able to talk with the Dr. and listen an he understood what i was going threw and he helped me with my meds... He really saved me from having to check in a psychiatric ward in order to get my meds.. Great Doctor very pleasant kind and understanding... would recommend that anyone in a situation or in-between doctors like my self should make a appointment with him .And I was seen the same day too.

Doctor Bernardi is all smiles and reassurance, if you're actually able to contact him. Don't expect him to do anything else, though. Doesn't answer email, text, phone. Needed prescription refills and he's nowhere to be found.

Phone consultation was great even though it was pushed back at the last minute. Super easy to talk to and understood my problems. We set up a plan together which included meeting weekly and other personal things. From there doctor became illusive. He apologized the first time he was non responsive and said it won’t happen again and he will fix it. He now as ignored my messages for well over a week. I have minor issues relatively speaking so it not life or death but I wish he was honest about his time and I would have booked with another doc. Being busy is ok. Setting up a treatment plan and then not following through and ignoring after is rude and unprofessional. Mental health is serious so I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone let alone someone in a potentially harmful lot life or death type mental illness.

Unfortunately Dr. Berndardi doesn't take insurance right now, otherwise I would 100% book with him again. He is a great listener and in the one session we had was able to give me a much better medication for my sleep than what I had been on for years.
