Bio:
Dr. Kapoor earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a double board-certified psychiatrist with 8 years of experience. People come to treatment for all sorts of reasons—ADHD, anxiety, depression, difficulty functioning at work or school, family conflict, challenges in relationships, low self-esteem, or simply a desire to learn more about themselves. As a psychiatrist with expertise in both medication management and psychotherapy, he can help patients develop a treatment plan that meets their needs. His style is guided by warmth and flexibility, with the goals of helping patients build insight and reduce symptoms.
Since 2017, Dr. Kapoor has mentored, supervised, and collaborated with over 150 residents and nurse practitioners in the field of psychiatry. He keeps up with the latest trends and the most cutting-edge treatments to serve his patients using evidence-based medicine.
What should a new client know about working with you?
New Patients will be sent intake forms to their email/cell phone to fill out after they shedule an appointment on Zocdoc. Kindly fill them out at your earliest convenience so our billing team can verify your insurance coverage and inform you of your exact patient responsibility portion (if any) of the appointment. Typically this can be your co-pay, co-insurance or remaining deductible depending on your plan) depending on your plan. We charge and process this portion upon beginning the appointment on the day of the appointment. If you lack insurance coverage, approxiate self pay rates are listed as below.
Patients will be treated in a caring, respectful and non judgemental manner with ongoing text support as well, if needed.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
He creates individualized treatment plans, assessing patients' goals, unique life experiences, and biological risk factors. His style of practice involves a “no judgement zone” and he uses nothing but medical as well as professional expertise to treat his patients, upholding their best interests in mind. He utilizes a "Patient Centered Approach" where we work as a team to improve patient's health.
