I love Dr. Kang. She is very personable, and she seems to genuinely care about your health. However, her staff and the wait time are awful!
The nurse was so sweet and the doctor was very nice as well. The woman who helped me at the front desk was also helpful and nice. I felt very comfortable talking to the doctor and telling her my problems. However, I felt very uncomfortable in the waiting room. Everyone was staring at me and I felt very out of place.

Went for a follow up. Great experience! I live this office because they do everything in the office.
she listened and waited until I was finished to ask questions. I feel I finally found my doctor!
Every time I go here, it's a very efficient visit. I would highly recommend this practice.

I love Dr. Kang. She is very personable, and she seems to genuinely care about your health. However, her staff and the wait time are awful!
Dr. Kang and the other doctors and nurses who work at her clinic are nice and pleasant enough, but I felt like my last check up wasn't as thorough as it should have been. What I like about this doctor's office is that the wait time usually isn't too long, they have weekend hours, and are good at taking walk-ins if you need an urgent appointment. They really need to keep the waiting room and restroom cleaner because it's a turn off to patients when the seats in the waiting area are stained and there are no paper towels or working hand dryers in the dirty restroom. I might give this doctor one more try but I'm thinking about changing my PCP.

jun kang's office used to be ran well. now they are just money grubbing. they will try to overcharge you and your insurance at any opportunity. they will also try to get you to come back into the office as frequently as possible so that they can earn more money, even if it is unnecessary.

I came in for routine blood work and was told it would be done in 5 days. I called 7 days later and they said yes we have them and we will call you later. Still no call so I called back and they said I should call tomorrow. I asked why the Dr didn't call me when results were in and what I need to do to get my results. This office is unorganized and if English is your only language you will have a rough time communicating with them.

It wasn't great

Took a while to see the doctor but she was very nice. She was also pretty thorough and was able to diagnose the issue and provided us with the medication to hopefully help my child feel better soon.

The doctor was available on a Saturday which my regular doctor was not. She was able to give me the prescriptions I needed, after I told her my problem. However she never asked me what medications I was taking, which was a problem. When I went back to her for a check up, I had to tell her what I needed. If I hadn't told her, she would have done nothing. Pretty lazy doctor.
Dr. Kang is very efficient and thorough. She asked about my family medical history, and addressed all my concerns. She could be a little more personable, but overall I give her 4.5 stars. The wait is usually 20-30 mins, which for New York, isn't that bad.

Dr. Jun Kang was nice and to the point and gave me information on how I could better take advantage of my health benefits. But the waiting room was dirty and made me uncomfortable, the seats all had stains on them. I had trouble communicating with the receptionist and the nurse who took my blood pressure etc. which made the easy communication with Dr.Jun Kang a relief. All in all, I will probably not go here again because the condition of the waiting room made me glad I was only there for a prescription refill.
I would never make a follow-up visit or recommend this physician to another patient. The office was extremely disorganized. I waited over an hour to see the doctor for less than 5 minutes. The office and the physician were extremely focused on my insurance coverage; much more so than the reason for my visit. My exam was extremely sub par and the doctor did not address most of my concerns. She did not even ask me what current medications I was taking, my surgical history or any other basic information. She seemed most concerned with seeing the most amount of patients in the shortest amount of time. The bathroom did not have soap or paper towels, which is very unsanitary and inconvenient.
She is an amazing doctor. I recommended my whole family to her. Her medical assistants and front desk receptionists are great. All my questions were answered.. She is great

I definitely recommend Dr. Kang if you're in a bind and need to see a doctor on short notice. I needed a last minute appointment on a Sunday, and was grateful to have found her office. I made an appointment via Zocdoc for 12:30pm. I wasn't seen until about 1:30, which wasn't unexpected for a walk-in clinic, but also left me wondering if I needed to make the appointment at all. The waiting room was clean and the office staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Kang was very nice and attentive and made sure my insurance covered my procedures. The bathroom was a bit gross -- dirty floor, no soap or paper towels to dry hands (there was a hand blower on the wall that didn't work). But other than that, it was a positive experience.
My insurance didn't cover a physical exam, and I was there for three reasons including that, but apparently that became the topic of discussion very quickly. She did see to my other needs, but I was upset at the passion held about my insurance issue.
I like Dr. Kang -- she is sweet, gentle, kind -- but I don't like the office. I can never understand her staff (especially on the phone). There are always miscommunications, and they have many times unnecessarily inconvenienced me and made me stress or worry. There was one procedure I had there where they did not prepare me for what it was going to be like at all or what I needed to do (i.e. eat/not eat, not use the bathroom beforehand) and it ended up adding about 2 hours to my wait time. They're just not very communicative. I suppose I would recommend this office if you speak Chinese or live nearby.
Doctor Kang is very thorough and informative. I visited her just to get a yearly check up and blood test. The results where in right away (2 days). She carefully explained the blood test results and prescribed supplements accordingly. She also informed me on certain lifestyle choices i must consider in order to become healthier. She scrupulously answers all questions and is very polite.

Very bad ! I have hight colestelor I went there tow time till they do the servise and the doctor so lazy she only give me medication after I told her I need it plus she even didn't told me what kind of good I need to not eat !
Verified patient
Very professional and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend her. Dr, Kang took her time to answer and explained everything to me for me to understand.

She's so good. Very through and I live the fact she does everything in her office. Blood work, EKG, etc. very good doctor now she's my primary
Waited beyond my appointment time. Payment was cash only. The doctor barely talked to me at all and didn't even tell me what was wrong, only prescribed me some medication and sent me on my way saying I'd be better in 2-3 days. A week later and I'm still sick. Needless to say I'll be going somewhere else for a follow up.
rushed me showed no concern
