Booked an appointment for my son (4 yrs and stated so) and half an hour into waiting for the appt to begin, got a call that they do not offer Telehealth for kids. I was upset as we would have made other arrangements and stated so. The provider agreed to look at him (he had a swollen eyelid), but did not have a good bedside manner and was clearly frustrated. Was told they would call in scripts after I paid the co-pay. Initially they said if the provider couldn’t help, I wouldn’t be charged, so I waited to be contacted for the payment as discussed. I followed up 3x and now the pharmacy is closed with no scripts for him tonight. Very aggravating - still waiting to pay and hoping to resolve things tomorrow but I absolutely would not recommend Katharine McAnneny to anyone.

My recent experience left me feeling unheard and uncomfortable. I would strongly encourage the staff to work on listening to patients more carefully and improving overall bedside manner. The two women who attended to me did not appear empathetic or genuinely concerned about the symptoms I was experiencing.
I initially declined certain tests because I believed they would return negative results due to how long I had already been ill. After the assistant stepped out, I overheard a conversation outside the room indicating that I “needed” to complete the tests. I felt pressured and as though my concerns and choices were not being respected. As expected, the results came back negative.
I booked this appointment through Zocdoc specifically seeking a primary care physician. I was unaware that the facility was an urgent care until I received the appointment confirmation. Additionally, the doctor listed on Zocdoc was not present and did not see me during the visit.

It wasn’t a very good experience the receptionist was lost and unpleasant, office was very cold. The provider that was set to be there was not there the day of appointment and had a NP instead.
