Justin Kitchens, FNP-C, MBA originally from Marietta, GA started his career in marketing after receiving his Bachelor of Administration and Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. After working in a corporate setting for 5 years post-graduation, he soon realized his true passion was improving the lives of others and subsequently obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Working in critical care units and psychiatric units as a registered nurse inspired him to go further with his healthcare career and in 2016 he graduated from Mercer University with his Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Justin will be furthering his education this fall by receiving a Post Master’s as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
As a former collegiate athlete, he is very much interested in physical movement, functional wellness and overall health of patients. Working in traditional roles as a nurse practitioner in emergency medicine and in psychiatry he began developing an interest in holistic approaches including alternative therapies to improve patient care. He began crossing over into holistic and functional medicine while working as an aesthetic injector. He now studies all facets of health, treating patients in areas including pain management, weight loss, rejuvenation therapies and others aimed at helping individual achieve their most fulfilled life. Justin thrives on education to always have the most innovative treatment options for optimum patient outcomes. Outside of work, Justin is a family guy and enjoys deepening his spiritual and personal relationships. Justin also maintains his connection as an athlete coaching youth in competitive gymnastics and cheerleading. Hiking, watching college football, or a quiet day at home are some of his other favorite activities.
