Once I saw the doctor, exam was thorough and quick, and he took time to explain everything to me. Only downside was the office itself- it is associated with an urgent care, so a lot of very sick people. Would have preferred, since I was there for a sports injury, if there was maybe a separate waiting room, especially because arriving I was incredibly confused about check in/where to go.

I saw Dr. Mullner for a pain in my leg and back, and later foot. The whole experience was great. Even though I'd never visited this office, I was able to schedule an appointment on short notice using Zocdoc. The front desk staff are polite, check-in was quick, and I never waited more than a few minutes. In the actual visit, Dr. Mullner was very patient, taking his time to really explain the different possibilities of what the problem is, and how our proposed treatment can address it. He came off as very genuine and thoughtful, and his suggested path forward was very thoughtful and I'm confident in it. I really appreciated how much time Dr. Mullner took to explain things to me.

Dr. Mullner was very concise and to the point, I like how he didn't waste my time and explained what I needed to know very clearly without asking about a bunch of irrelevant things. He seemed very knowledgeable about what he was talking about, and taught me some useful things about my shoulder that my previous doctor never mentioned/suggested!
If you want an intelligent doctor who knows what he's talking about, this is your guy. The office location isn't in the nicest part of DC, though (not an awful area, either).

I have seen Dr Mullner before, so we are getting better at communicating with each other. He took extra time to explain diagnostic test results and to help me consider what to expect, realistically from various options going forward. I appreciate his candid, yet caring approach. I know my situation is insignificant compared to plenty of what he sees, but he still treats me as if he understands my concerns, and wants me to have best possible outcome.

As someone with a chronic illness, I have spent large spans of my life terminally bored in doctors' waiting rooms, but Justin Mullner, MD, keeps from adding to the wait. I saw Dr. Mullner for an ankle injury. We discussed how the injury happened and then he examined my ankle. He took the time to explain the muscle structure and function, and the likely issues. He explained exercises and gave me reference materials to strengthen my ankle. Dr. Muller was very kind and patient, and took the time to address my questions.
