More about Dr. Justina Dillon, PhD
Are you feeling hurt or overwhelmed by something that happened to you? Do you find yourself stuck in upsetting patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaving that make it difficult to move forward and make decisions in your personal or professional life? Considering making changes in your life can feel daunting, and counseling can provide support and guidance as you continue building a more fulfilling life for yourself. In my practice, I strive to create a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental atmosphere that will help you better understand the difficulties you're experiencing and learn about ways to overcome them.
I embrace research-based counseling techniques and tailor my approach to your individual needs and goals. I have extensive training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic modalities and additionally specialize in the treatment of trauma (PTSD; abuse) and addictive behaviors (including substance misuse, gambling, overeating, etc.).
I am happy to speak with you more about the process of counseling and what to expect and to discuss how I can be helpful given your particular situation and needs. Finding someone you can trust and confide in can lighten the burden and help you find answers and rediscover hope in your life.
If you are ready to schedule your first consultation, please find an appointment time here that works best for you.
