About Dr. Kailee Perkinson
Dr. Kailee Perkinson is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a focus in caring for patients from adolescence through adulthood. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. As an RN, she completed a nurse residency program focusing in emergency nursing before transferring to critical care nursing in the cardiac intensive care unit. She was a Certified Emergency Nurse and received extensive training in trauma nursing, critical care management and cardiac device management. She received her Masters and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. Through this program she received training and education in all aspects of primary care, acute illness complaints, and the management of chronic diseases. She holds her Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

I haven't been to see a doc outside of my pregnancies in over ten years. I don't like offices. I hate that you have to wait for 30 or 40 minutes past your appointment time. That was not the experience that I had here. I was seen right way and it was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. I feel like I was heard for the first time in a long time. I wasn't made to feel like my concerns weren’t real or that I was making things up in my head. There was genuine concern for my health and what was going on with me. It’s not just that I was heard’ I was asked questions and had everything that I wanted to talk about actually talked about. i have follow up appointments with the right people’ labs and an MRI scheduled. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I wont say im excited to go back to the dr but I am finally at a place where I am comfortable. I feel like I have a location that I can go when im sick. It s new thing for me and I am so grateful for it.

Dr. Perkinson is a phenomenal provider. She truly shows care and empathy for her patients. She takes time to discover the root cause of patient issues and come up with an effective treatment plan. I have been so thankful for her ongoing care and attention to detail for myself and my family. Would happily recommend her to everyone!

I had such a great experience with Kailee. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to really listen to my concerns, explain everything clearly, and make sure I understood my options. I never felt rushed, and she was both knowledgeable and compassionate throughout the entire visit. It’s so refreshing to meet a provider who genuinely cares about their patients and goes above and beyond to make you feel heard and cared for. I left feeling confident and well taken care of — highly recommend!

Dr. Perkinson and her team have given me the best care experience I’ve had in the CHS area! She approaches every scenario with a calm demeanor, addresses sensitive issues with empathy, as well as listening to and educating her patients on the best course of action for treatment.
