Dr. Kamal Anjum is an experienced and warm internist specializing in pulmonology and critical care based in Hollywood, FL. Dr. Anjum obtained his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College & Hospital in Pakistan. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of the West Indies. He also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. He further continued his education and completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at Maimonides Medical Center.

I waited an hour after my scheduled appointment to be called by the office for my virtual appointment. The front desk receptionist Kimberley was very disrespectful did not listen to me when I was talking and continuously spoke over me and contradicted herself on several occasions. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. After being placed on hold several times and being hung up on. I was finally able to speak to the doctor who was also very unprofessional. Over all the worst medical care I've ever experienced. If you're looking for a well rounded friendly competent doctors office, this is not it!

I chose Dr Anjum based on online reviews and the fact that I didn’t have to wait long for an available appointment. After arriving early so I would have time to fill out paperwork, I finally saw the doctor 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I do not expect hand holding and do not need a doctor who is overly friendly. What I need is a doctor who has some compassion and also one who listens to me. I saw the doctor for about 20 minutes and felt like my concerns were not taken seriously and were instead just dismissed.

Dr. Kamal and his staff has been more than accommodating to me. I was able to schedule an appointment the very next day and waited no more than 5 mins to be seen! I would highly recommend anyone curious about seeing Dr.Kamal Anjum. This was my first visit to a pulmonologist and he will be the only Dr. I’ll be seeing going forward. Excellent service.

My problem with this doctor is, we felt he was stalling us for more money. He sent my husband to quest diagnostic to get blood work done for what was suppose to be a full physical but here it is 1 year later and we still don't know my husbands results. Every time we made an appointment with this doctor, we would get our hopes up that he would finally do something worth the co-pay he was charging for each useless visit-- but no. My husband saw him for months until I said enough is enough. He didn't do anything in any of these appointments other than take my husbands blood pressure/vitals, spoke to us for 10 minutes and send us on our way ( not before making yet another useless appointment) my husband gave him a paper he was suppose to fill out for my husbands job but doctor Kamal held it hostage (hence, why we saw him for months). My husband just went to another doctor to get the paperwork filled out as he needed it for work. The doctors office isn't fully equipped which sucks, but my pet peeve was paying just to talk to the doctor.. He surely didn't do anything to earn the co-pay. No I would not recommend, no I would not return.
