My name is Kamila Veljkovic, and I am the Owner, Founder, and Lead Nutritionist of Complete Health for Women, a virtual women's clinic.
If you're visiting my page today, you're likely seeking better health along your Hashimoto's journey. Perhaps you have lingering symptoms despite your medications, are tired of being on the diet hamster wheel without results, or suffer from multiple autoimmune disorders.
It can be frustrating to follow your doctor's instructions and still not feel well-I know this too well because I am also a Hashimoto's patient.
Unfortunately, as with most chronic illnesses like Hashimoto's, there isn't a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we need to look to the root cause of what set off this cascade of symptoms through lifestyle and dietary interventions to develop a personalized plan that helps you achieve optimal health.
After struggling for years to find the missing puzzle piece in my diagnosis, I switched to a clean, non-processed diet free of dairy and gluten, and that's when I truly started to notice a change in my health.
In 2011, I discovered my passion for nutrition after digging deeper for answers to my own health challenges when conventional methods failed me. Struggling with thyroid, fertility, weight loss, and gut issues led me to pursue a career in integrative nutrition.
I understand the importance of meeting clients where they are in their health journey and creating customized plans that align with their lifestyle and capabilities, rather than imposing unattainable goals. My goal is to help clients build sustainable habits and regain their health and well-being through nutrition and lifestyle changes. I am a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health and hold a Certificate in Holistic Health Coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
