The University of Chicago GI program maintains its' position as Chicagoland's #1 GI program, as well as the #9 program in the country as rated by US News and World Report. This is made possible through the noted efforts of doctors such as Dr. Gautham Reddy. Dr. Reddy is an expert in gastroenterology, liver disease and endoscopic procedures. He currently serves as the Associate Program Director for the training programs in both Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at The University of Chicago. He is also a Fellow for the American Gastroenterology Association. Dr. Reddy's philosophy is that the care of the patient should be evidenced based and compassionate.
Dr. Reddy is a member of multiple professional organizations and sits on the Training and Clinical Policy Committee for the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. He is heavily involved in medical education and he serves as the program director for the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship and the associate program director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship at The University of Chicago. His research interests include the treatment of hepatitis C and complications of cirrhosis including novel therapies for hepatic encephalopathy and hepatorenal syndrome. He has additional research interests in improving quality of healthcare delivery and endoscopy. He maintains a busy practice in all liver diseases, general gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures.

Wait was long, this is an outpatient clinic at UChicago Hospital so expect wait times to be increased, also if this is your first time going be prepared to spend about 10 mins trying to navigate around to find the right floor.
