Karen Chen is a certified physician assistant who earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Karen practices medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She has extensive training in treating various skin conditions and skin cancers. In addition to her training at USC and California Skin Institute, she has also continued her education by completing a dermatologic diplomate fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Karen is dedicated to ensuring her patients receive the individualized care they deserve. As a child, she suffered from many skin conditions, and understands the profound impact dermatological conditions have on one’s quality of life. She wants to help patients feel their best in their own skin.
She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, being active, watching her favorite shows, and trying new food.
