Dr. Woolridge was great! Very understanding, efficient, and friendly - as was the office staff. I was out of there in hardly any time. Considering I needed in-person care during the Covid19 pandemic, I was a little nervous going to a medical office. However, I was reassured by the steps the staff took to protect patients. Actually, I didn't see any other patients at all during my appointment, so it's possible they were really spacing them out.
On a side note - that office is niiiiice. Much more fashionable than any Dr's office I've ever been in. Still, very affordable and takes insurance. Highly recommended Dr and office! (Unfortunately, Dr. Woolridge was moving to another city literally the day after my appointment, so I'll need to see another Dr at that office in the future.)

Katelyn Fusilier Woolridge, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist specializing in medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2010 and obtained a doctorate of medicine from Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2015.
While in medical school, Dr. Woolridge was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, serving as chapter president, as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She was also recognized with the Henry W. Jolly Award for excellence in dermatology. After medical school and internship, Dr. Woolridge completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. While in residency, Dr. Woolridge served as chief resident during her final year and was awarded for excellence in medical student teaching and research. She has authored numerous scientific publications and presented at both state and national meetings.
Dr. Woolridge is a member of various medical organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, Texas Medical Association, and Houston Dermatological Society.
As a south Louisiana native, Dr. Woolridge moved to Texas in 2016 and to Houston in 2019. Dr. Woolridge and her husband, Noah, are thrilled to live in Houston with their young son, John, and not-so-young puppy, Sammy.

I went to Westlake Dermatology with Dr. Woolridge for the first time. I was excited to go because it’s within walking distance of my house. It was NOT a good experience, however. When I walked in, there was only one other patient in the waiting room. When I got called back, the halls were quiet and didn’t seem to have a lot of patients. A nurse saw me first and was really nice then said Dr. Woolridge would be there to see me soon. I waited in the room by myself on the patient bed for 45 minutes. Finally frustrated, I left the patient room and literally had to look around to find someone to help. When I did this, and found the nurse who originally saw me, Dr. Woolridge came in 5 minutes later and just casually apologized for my almost one hour wait. I reported my skin issue to her and she said she didn’t know how it could be treated, but she would consult the other doctors and get back to me. She never got back to me at all and it has been almost a month. I was discouraged that she wasn’t able to help me at all, so i actually called back the day of my appointment when I left to see if we could explore another alternative option. I left a message with the staff, but she never called back to discuss my question. Waste of time. Won’t be going back and have scheduled a second consult at another dermatology office.

I loved doctor Katelyn, she was very nice, seems really knowledgeable. She was able to prescribe me the correct products with no hesitation. She was very sweet too. the only downside was the wait time, which was almost 30 minutes.

Beautiful office, quick in and out, but for a first office visit, I would've thought they would've taken their time to hear out my concerns and address them, but they got straight to the point and didn't provide much information. It was my first dermatologist appointment so I wasnt fully aware of all their services.

Staff was very professional and prompt.
Dr Woolridge handled my high anxiety concern with such professionalism and for the time being, has put me at ease.
We scheduled a follow up procedure and feel confident she will do great.
Lastly, they have more than reasonable prices for those of us who are paying out of pocket.
