Thank goodness after making my appointment on Zocdoc I called in to make sure everything was okay. I was told by my symptoms that I had to do a virtual visit. The virtual visit was useless. I said all of my issues and symptoms to the Dr, even explained that I did an at home Covid test that was negative and was still told that based off of my symptoms it could just be a regular cold and that I should get vaccinated in order to get rid of any Covid related symptoms. I thought it was foolish to hear that from urgent care but to also hear that from your dr followed by “so what was the reason of your visit?” I was through. It’s so hard to get decent healthcare as an African American and it shows which is so terrible. Then in order for me to get bloodwork to figure out if there is anything else wrong as well as a physical, I have to wait until November! I refuse to go back. I also had to call in because the Dr took so long I wasn’t sure if we were still doing the video visit.
