Dr. Kathryn A. Baruch, a native of Chicago, graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in biology. She then moved back to Chicago where she earned a doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). While at ICO, Dr. Baruch received the Illinois College of Optometry Award for Clinical Excellence. Upon graduation, she relocated to Metro Detroit and completed a one-year post-graduate residency at the John D. Dingell Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Baruch is dedicated to the profession of optometry and providing excellent clinical care and patient service. She enjoys providing eye care for people of all ages, specializing in contact lenses, pre- and post-surgical care, glaucoma, diabetes, cataract and refractive care. Being a recent graduate, Dr. Baruch brings with her to Manzo Eye Care the latest in research and technology.
Dr. Baruch is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association. She enjoys traveling and taking advantage of the wonderful outdoors that Michigan has to offer.

Dr. Baruch is a very professional young lady. She seemed patient, and provided me with information that should have been shared by other specialists, long before now. She even walked me from the examination room to the front desk and told me who would be helping me from that point on--then checked on me later.
A pleasant experience from the time I entered the beautiful and "cozy" looking waiting area to the time I left.

My visit with Dr. Baruch was a relief. I had not been to the eye doctor in sometime, but the staff there treated me like I had been a patient there for years. Dr. Baruch was very understanding and caring. I will definitely recommend Manzo Eye Care to my colleagues, friends and family.
