Dr. Horn is a practicing family physician at the UH Health Family Care Center where she sees patients on a part-time basis. She is the former Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Admissions and Outreach for Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine and was one of the founding members of the college of medicine prior to her retirement in October 2022. She continues as an adjunct professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences. She is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Horn received a bachelor’s in Biology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas before attending medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at TTUHSC El Paso and then served that institution as a family medicine clerkship director, associate dean for student affairs and assistant vice-president for student services.
