Katie Peterson, C.N.M., M.S., is a Certified Nurse Midwife. Katie received her BS in Nursing from Northern Illinois University in 2002. She has assisted women through labor and birth for eight years as a Labor and Delivery RN, including both low-risk and high-risk OB women. Katie received her Masters of Science in Nursing and completed her midwifery training at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2013. Katie is also certified in the insertion and removal of LARCs (Long Acting Reversible Contraception). She is interested in natural childbirth and providing contraceptive counseling to the adolescent and young women population.
