Katrina Pinkerton is proud to be a member of Circle Medical, a digital-first, patient-focused experience that makes quality care more accessible than ever.
Years of bicoastal bedside work as a Lactation Consultant inspired me to pursue an OB/GYN-focused Nurse Practitioner Master's degree at Yale in 2013, where I created my own sub-specialty study track in LGBTQ care. Upon graduation in '16, I moved ?to Portland OR to start my WHNP career at a reproductive medicine clinic. Next, I was the primary clinician at a specialty Medical/Surgical Oncology Breast clinic treating high-risk and early-stage cancer patients, and ran a side-practice at a grassroots LGBTQI+ community clinic. To further my mission of expanding quality healthcare access to all, in '19 I returned to school for my Post-Master's FNP. Seeing Primary Care and Emergency patients during my studies, while also leading mass vaccination popups at Nursing Faculty, were incredible experiences to have this past year! I'm now a Board-Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and am thrilled to be able to provide expanded care.
A Bay-Area native, I love spending my free time on walks or bike rides in the sunshine...and dreaming up new ways to bring delightful healthcare to access to all. ("She" pronouns.)
