Dr. Kavita Kewalramani (Dr. K) is a board-certified Internist and Certified Diabetes Educator®, who strongly believes in the “food as medicine” philosophy of Hippocrates. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Topiwala National Medical College, completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Overlook Hospital, and obtained her Master of Public Health with a Certification in Clinical Nutrition from Columbia University.
In these unprecedented times, Dr. K is offering telemedicine visits to all patients over 18 years of age who require primary care. While the anxiety over COVID-19 persists, we must not forget there are other chronic medical conditions like diabetes and hypertension that still need to be monitored. Please schedule your appointment with Dr. K to address any healthcare concerns you may have, including symptoms or exposure to COVID-19 or to follow up on your medical problems.
For new patients, we request that you complete and sign three forms on Zocdoc prior to your telemedicine visit: patient registration, HIPAA, and office policies. Dr. K can only evaluate you after these forms have been completed and signed.
