Dr. Kavita Surti is a board certified ophthalmologist, who is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care. Dr. Surti graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles and received her medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating with high academic honors, she then went on to complete a three year residency program in ophthalmology at the nationally renowned program of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Today, Dr. Surti utilizes the latest advancements in ophthalmic and surgical care. She is an experienced microsurgeon specializing in no stitch cataract removal and implantation of astigmatic correcting and multifocal intraocular lenses. Dr. Surti also treats glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration and dry eyes. In addition, she performs cosmetic procedures including blepharoplasty (eyelid lifts) and Botox.
Dr. Surti’s promise is to practice expert ophthalmological care to establish a relationship of trust and understanding. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Surti enjoys traveling, tennis and spending time with her family
