I think Dr Scanks is a very smart and talented physician. She has a great sense of humor. Very approachable and easy to talk too. I had to find a new physician after my previous physician went another way with her practice. So I had to find a new physician. I think Dr. K. Scanks is the right choice. Would recommend!!

I went for an annual physical and although I didn't have to wait long for my appointment, I felt like the "physical" was very rushed and not complete. After the nurse took my blood pressure, weighed me, and got my height, all that Dr. Scanks did was look in my eyes and ears, feel my organs, and listen to my heartbeat. I also got some blood taken which I have not received the results from yet. I hadn't gotten a physical in several years and was hoping for something more thorough. Dr. Scanks seemed more interested in making conversation than doing a thorough physical.

well I have seen many doctors I have a strange varity of health problems ,... and I feel like I have really found the right dr for me. she is smart she listens I know she went to good school n I consider her my friend always helps me n always bright smile I really respect her mostly because good doctors r hard to find and she listens n always makes a diff in my daily living

The office staff were wonderful and Dr. Scanks was just what I was looking for - a MD who has the time to talk with you and see what is going on with your life and what you are no doing and why. I am looking forward to being back on track.

Dr. Scanks was cheerful, attentive, patient and gave me a good exam. Her staff from the first person who took your information to the nurse were perfect. I never felt rushed. There were no computer glitches to wait on.
The best thing I can say is that I feel like I have put my health care into good hands.

Not thrilled, prior visit waited 1 45 mins, no apology, no call back, no apology. I called to reschedule appt 30 min wait, visit felt rushed with md, I felt she did not listen and gave me a free sample of pain meds and ignored my pain concerns and request to be referred to a neck pain specialists. I will not go back.

Dr. Scanks was very pleasant and knowledgeable and I found her to be patient and thorough. Even when another medical professional was sent into the room to draw blood she continued to check in to make certain all was well. Dr. Scanks answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns.
I would highly recommend her.

Dr Scanks is simply awesome but her asst has a poor attitude. Dr Scanks engages her clients and is laid back and very easy to talk to! However the asst is not friendly AT ALL and speaks in a rude tone. Without the fact that I loved visiting with the Dr. I would not want to return.

Although the wait time was kinda sucky it was well worth the wait. I havent had a primary care doctor since I was 17 and I am 31 now! *cough* I mean 29 :) Dr. Scanks is absolutely amazing. Although I had to cry a bit I felt at ease talking to her. Very personable, very funny and really takes her time to get to know you which explains the wait time lol. There isnt a rush to get you in and out and I really appreciate that :)
