About Kristen Lund
Kristen Lund is a certified physician assistant with a passion for internal medicine and obesity medicine. Raised in North Dallas, Kristen completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville before earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University. Most recently, she completed a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Harding University. Her background in both the nursing and medical models of care gives Kristen a unique perspective on patient-centered care. She treats her patients with empathy and develops relationships focused on shared decision-making. When not treating patients, Kristen enjoys yoga, hiking with her husband and two Aussies, and spending time with her family.

She is always the sweetest every time I go see her. I get sick, unfortunately, quite often due to horrible allergies and sinus issues. She has given some very amazing at home recommendations and always gives me different recovery options. It makes it really easy for me to decide what path to recovery I prefer to take.
She always finds a way to get me laughing a little bit, even when discussing not so great news. It makes these visits less stressful.
Very thankful to have found her. It’s always so stressful finding a good doctor that listens and cares as much as she has with me.

I’d definitely go back to this doctor. I let them know all my concerns about my physical and mental health, they proceeded to treat me with empathy I desperately needed. Mentally I’m going through a difficult time and they provided me with the resources I needed to better myself. The staff that did my bloodwork saw what I was going through and asked to pray with me. I’ve never been to a doctors office that offers so much humility. It was a breath of fresh air in my time of need.

I live 30-50 minutes away from this clinic, but it’s worth the drive. The clinic is clean and the staff are nice. The nurse clearly cares deeply for her patients, especially if she can see you’re doing everything you can to get better. I never have to try to convince her how I’m feeling. She does what she can to get to the source of the problem, and helps find a solution that works for you. I’m very grateful to have her as my nurse.

I was very satisfied with the care I received by Ms. Lund and the entire staff. Ms Lund was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. She conducted every test needed to find and rule out the cause of my chest pain, although nothing concrete could be determined. Maybe explaining test/x-ray findings in more detail would’ve been helpful or sending me home with documentation of what was done, and next steps to take.
Despite the great care overall, the office vibe is really strange. I preferred AIM in their previous location because it appeared to be more modern, clean, bright and hospital-affiliated. This new office felt like a high-volume urgent care clinic and felt dark, dirty and dingy. The new building is old and dark as well. The large “nurse pit” in the center of the office is super uncomfortable to walk through and no one looks up at you. It’s a super weird setup.
Not sure I would have gone back if this had been my first impression. Hopefully this new location is temporary?

The doctor was very nice and didn’t beat around the bush. This was my first visit and I explained to her my long medical history and the issues I’ve been having since I was a child. She quickly figured out that I’ve tried everything with over the counter medicine and prescribed medicine. Instead of having me come back to see how I respond to some new over the counter drug, she immediately got me a referral to a specialist without me having to ask. This hospital is a good 45 minute drive from my home, but I will absolutely be coming back for my regular checkups. She’s worth it.

Kristen Lund was a fantastic listener and had impeccable bedside manner. As someone who has avoided the doctor for some time due to previous unsatisfying experiences, internal medicine of Addison with PA Kristen Lund was a refreshing visit! This is exactly how a doctors visit should go and I am excited to maintain my health with them in the future.
