What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I love being able to build long-term and trusting relationships with my patients. Patients come to us at their most vulnerable and providing comfort and care through those difficult times is truly rewarding. I believe there is always more to learn and love taking the opportunity to learn and grow together with my patients.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
I feel the role of a primary care provider is one of trust and understanding. There are unique needs for each individual, and I aim to provide the highest quality care possible for my patients through patient education and patient-centered care. I feel that partnering with patients and giving them correct tools and information empowers them to take an active role in their health care.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I enjoy cooking and reading and spending time with my husband and children.
