Very inviting staff and Dr. Felt way better than when I first arrived. They just listened and sometimes you need just that…then everything else fell into place. Now I feel like my issues will be addressed and taken care of.

I called to confirm the appointment. It was verified. Asked to come earlier and was accommodated. Staff friendly and our family has been to the office about 20 years ago. Still love him and please with my care. Will have a return follow up.

Great staff very friendly. The doctor seemed to be in a rush and was straight to the point in order to get through all of his patients. I wish he took a bit more time with me to explain everything however, I completely understand since the office was busy. With that being said, I waited over an hour before I was taken into the examination room and people that had arrived 30 mins after me were seen first. Of course I’m unaware of their issues and if they were also first time patients so that could be why it took a bit. However, my experience was overall great I will be going back next week and the staff was wonderful and super sweet. 8/10 experience would be 10/10 if the wait wasn’t as long but it could’ve just been the time I went. Love the doctor!

I took one hour driving to his office , because a fracture in my ankle. I ask for the images from the X-ray to send to our family doctor and the give an CD ( the computer today no have CD reader) and on the CD has a program that I CANT open on fedex . He don’t want to send the images to me by email because the HIPAA but I’m the patient ! Is my right to have my images ! I don’t recommend at all .
Very professional
Great advice & on point treatment.

From the very easy process using Zocdoc to Dr. Kurland and the staff who were perfect in every way I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for an Orthopedic Doctor.
Verified patient
I have seen Dr. Kurland for many years as he is the recommend doctor for city employees. Yes, he is short in manner and straight to the point. Yes, he is knowledgeable. The downside is that he has too many patients and is not able to dedicate the appropriate amount of time to each one. Wait times average 1-2 hours. Even in physical therapy, they work with multiple patients. I am no longer a patient of his as my knee surgery did not heal properly and many other underlying muscular issues that he did not catch. I am now with a physician that can dedicate the time to me and actually produce positive results while explaining what is happening and why and how to fix it.
The Office Administrator was quick to respond to the Zocdoc appt and followed through with confirming the appt. Regarding the actual appt, the staff were helpful, but they talked about a patient who always talks and didnt want to deal with while checking me in. Meeting Dr. Kurland, there was no effort of any introduction or hi. What is wrong, move this, try this, does this hurt, ok, lets get x-rays. Waiting in one of the exam rooms, there was an old needle cover under the exam bed and he did not change his gloves before or after he examined me. Prescribed PT with negative X-rays.
I thought he was very unfriendly and short. After my appointment was over he told me to follow him. I was there because my knee was in horrible pain so I was walking kind of slow. Once I gathered my purse to follow him he was no where to be found. I walked to the front and there he was. He walked past me and went into another room to talk to another patient. No goodbye, have a nice day, I’m prescribing this, nothing. I will not be following up there.
he was very pleasant, listened to my concerns and put me on a short treatment for a couple of weeks, if no progress we will look for other options.

The staff is amazing.
I only checked "Probably Not" to give the Dr./office mgr. time to APOLOGIZE for WASTING a day of my life, costing me a day of business (which I closed to devote to the journey there), and laying off employees for the day. After taking EVERY precaution where I even faxed the words, "please make sure there's no problem with my insurance" with usual the forms they sent me to fill out, which they acknowledged receiving, the doctor refused to see me proclaiming "no referral." So many of these people need to recognize that their PROSPECTIVE, in this case, patients have lives too, and when kindly informed that they're coming a very long distance and asked to make sure the insurance works, this doctor and office manager simply ignored it all. As it turned out, my insurance told me they could've simply emailed or called in the authorization while I was there, and again this doctor proved INEPT in not even considering that possibility, or of course in training his office manager to ask a simple question long in advance, and in this case just ANSWER the question I asked about it long in advance of the appointment,

Dr. Kurland is pleasant, to the point and knowledgeable. Treated my issue right away and the office staff is also very nice. Easy to make an appointment and no delay in being seen.

Good doctor and did a great set of X-rays to figure out what was wrong with my left leg. Will know if his diagnosis is correct after 2 weeks of physical therapy.!

Excellent! Took time to listen to me.

Dr. Keith Kurland is a great surgeon. I have been his patient for more than 20 years now. He has helped me to heal from many orthopedic problems. He is a very professional and knowledgable doctor. He will take the time to listen to your questions and answer them in language you can understand. His pricing is very reasonable. He will try physical therapy and other non invasive healing measures first if possible before recommending surgery. The desk staff was very helpful with appointments and handling check in and check out. The staff nurses, technicians, etc. are very polite.
Verified patient
Dr. Kurland is a very professional and competent orthopedic physician. His bedside manner is exemplary and I found him compassionate yet direct. He was not especially eager to jump into surgery, preferring a more cautious approach which was entirely appropriate in my case. It is rare when one has the opportunity to be taken care of by a physician specialist who is driven by a desire to heal first, as opposed to revenue-focus. The staff was professional and friendly as well, I was in and out in less than an hour, including the exam, x-rays, an ultrasound-guided injection into my joint, etc. Everything was explained to me perfectly, and I will be back! Highly recommend this orthopedic office.

When I first got there I was appalled at the non chalant attitude of the lady working the front desk . The doctor seemed to be unorganized as far as him rushing your appointment time to get to the next patient, and didn't have time for questions because he was trying to do too many things at once . If I wasn't so far into my treatment with this doctor I would have BEEEENNN on the search for a new one . The only staff member that was nice from the beginning was GG . Everyone seemed unhappy with their position at this office . Timing for doctor is okay . If you like to be seen on your appointment time than book either the first appointment (the doctor arrives on time) or book the very last appointment(the doctor will be on time because he wants to leave on time) . All in all this doctor is okay he knows his stuff but I most likely would not recommend him.
I found Dr. Kurland to be exceptional in all areas,. Professional ,knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain all my options. Having seen two prior doctors this man stood far and above the others. If you need an orthopedic doctor, this should be the doctor you see.
Verified patient
Extremely long wait times.. Appt was at 3:15 and still had not seen the doctor at 4:30. Definitely not recommended for someone who has other things to do after the visit.

Quick and willing to listen, a great experience
