I love working with patients to help find creative ways to reach their goals. I believe it is important to work as a team because there is never a one-size-fits-all solution.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
To understand what is important to each individual patient and find ways to achieve that. I think it is always important to listen, and not all conditions are just physical or behavioral health-they can frequently intertwine.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love spending time with my family and our two dogs. I also volunteer training service dogs for other veterans.

She had THE BEST bed side manner EVER!! She thoroughly explained everything
to me and had me really make sure that Im listening to my body when the "alarms"
go off. She may not be a doctor, but Id choose her every time if I need these
services again. Physician Assistants are, in my opinion, doctors without the title.
Shes a great person and extremely professional. Great job!!
