Dr. Kenneth M. Garza, O.D. attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Garza is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease by the National Board of Examiners. He is licensed to practice optometry in the state of Texas. He is also a certified Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and member of the American Optometric and Texas Optometric Associations.
Dr. Garza specializes in pre- and post-operative management of cataract and refractive surgery patients, including LASIK. He fits hard and soft contact lenses, including toric and multifocal lenses.
When not in the office, you can find him on a golf course or strumming his guitar. During football season, he roots for his beloved South Carolina Gamecocks. His wife Bita is an optometrist also; his two children, Layla, 5, and Gavin, 3, are not!

I have to say, I'm very hard to impress but this physician was everything I've been looking for in an eye doctor (for YEARS). He was thorough, informative, caring, kind and knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor. I think I'm just a little shy of being his groupie! The staff were helpful and very professional. I love this office! Dr. Garza and his staff are so thorough. They listen to and address every concern I have. They make sure you know exactly what's going on with your vision health. I drive 45 minutes just to go see him; that should tell you how great he is!

I did some research before deciding on booking an appointment with Dr. Garza for my husband and myself. He's very laid back, professional, understanding and makes you very comfortable. He keeps it 100, and his staff is just as awesome. He is definitely worth it.

Though he is not the most convenient in distance I feel I am receiving very good care and this is from one who always in the past saw an ophthalmologist. His whole staff are very professional and makes you feel welcomed. I would highly recommend him.
